The homeless father and son talk about their ideal home, and the son goes about collecting food.

Katsuko is quiet and plain, yet extremely earnest. Okabe loves her and gets her a birthday present.

Nagata often visits Hansuke, while Katsukos aunt Taeko notices a change in Katsuko.
