Not Dead Yet

As Nell tries to settle into her new job, she gets increasingly annoyed by her latest ghost. Meanwhile, Edward works on a project that sparks Nell’s journalistic curiosity.

Nell’s friends rally to set her up on some dates, but Nell isn’t sure she’s ready to move on. Edward has better luck finding a match.

Lexi puts Sam in charge of the newspaper’s food and wine festival, making Nell jealous of their friendship. At the event, Edward helps Cricket with her booth and Dennis lets off some marital steam.

Nell finally meets Edward’s girlfriend. Meanwhile at the wine bar, Cricket hosts trivia night.

After a fun night out with Sam and Dennis, Nell winds up sick in bed and wanting to be left alone. Meanwhile, Lexi convinces Sam and Dennis to join her for lunch, which spirals into a much longer commitment.

Nell agrees to see Phillip, hoping for closure. Sam and Lexi have a joint birthday party for their daughters.

Lexis father and owner of the SoCal Independent, Duncan Rhodes, comes into the office and forms a bond with Nell, much to his daughters dismay.

Lexi, Duncan, Sam and Dennis attend an award ceremony for several SoCal Independent editing nominations. Meanwhile, Nell steps in to babysit Sams daughter, who doesnt seem interested in hanging out with her "fun Aunt Nell."

When Nells latest ghost is convinced that there was foul play involved in his death, Nell is happy to try to investigate until Lexi inserts herself into the case.

TJ asks Nell to play on the newspaper softball team. Lexi and Edward spend a weird version of quality time together, while Duncan runs into an old rival.

Nell finds out that Duncan is selling the SoCal Independent, so she takes matters into her own hands to save her job when Lexi seems unwilling to help.
