The Sydney Water Police investigate a fatal bombing on a charter ferry while trying to locate other explosive devices that may still be located in the harbour. The Nemesis crew scrambles to recapture a murder suspect who escapes custody. Kevin Holloway, Franks younger brother, joins Homicide and is partnered with Franks good friend Knocker Harrison. A man claiming to have the missing bomb takes hostages on a passenger ferry. Frank and Rachel stake out a yacht to catch a scantily clad burglar. A diver dismissed from duty dives the site of the ferry wreck to locate the fourth bomb in order to eliminate the hijackers threat. Franks older brother Jimmy is released from prison two years after Frank put him away as part of a drug bust.

An abandoned ship arrives in Sydney waters from Thailand. Its a Marie Celeste-style mystery - except for a dog on board, some scorched bones and a heap of ashy remains.

A load of Scotch has been stolen from the wharves and a night watchman killed. Tommys father is embroiled in a row with a rival fishing family. The water police investigate the death of a recreational diver and assume it was an accident, while the insurance company claims it was suicide.

A Vietnamese family are the victims of a robbery and their son has been kidnapped. The search for the kidnappers is complicated by the fact that the US President is visiting Sydney and the Water Police are on full security alert

Rachel Goldstein and Frank Holloway investigate the disappearance of a teenage girl they believe has been murdered by her father. However, it is a race against time to find enough evidence to stop the man from leaving the country. Meanwhile the wife of the man who interviwed Clarke Webb on radio goes missing.

Kevin Holloways car is found still with the keys in the ignition at The Gap - a notorious suicide spot. Meanwhile Goldie is served with court papers seeking to cut off all access to her son David.

Frank and Goldie are whisked to a warehouse being used in the ongoing investigation into Kevin Holloways disappearance. Goldie, Frank, Knocker and Brady search Pappas boat for narcotics. They suspect Pappas is involved in Kevin Holloways disappearance. The boat crew accompany the Sheriff to a cargo ship that has docked.

A man is killed when a speed boat is deliberately driven into the back of his vessel. A friend who was with him at the time identifies the person responsible as a well-known crime figure and an old enemy of Franks: Marty Miller (Peter Kowitz). Sykes takes part in a training course for police divers. Goldie and Knocker seem to get along very well, and a vietnamese cleaner, Thong, is found dead at the Water Police headquarter.

Frank is rushed to hospital after he is shot in an armed hold up. Chief Inspector Clarke Webb meets an old flame, Moira who gives interesting information about the robbers. John Harrison confronts Goldies ex-husband about giving Goldie access to her son. Jeff Hawker investigates a boat accident.

Inspector Webb is slow in coming forward with information on the death of Moira Randall as he doesnt want his affair with her uncovered. The Nemesis crew is kept busy by a group of drunken university students on Shark Island. Hawker tells Helen that he will apply for the post as Chief Inspector if Webb has to leave. Hes surprised when Helen says she also will apply for it.

Holloway finds a new lead on Kevins murder after a young robber is caught with Kevins missing gun.

Detectives discover two people who died of carbon monoxide poisoning, they suspect a connection to the activities of Asian gangs. Frank and Rachel gets help from an Asian crime specialist from Task Force Oak. Rachel and Knocker announce their engagement.

When Megan, an anonymous witness to Kevins death is killed, Brady and Holloway search for other people who may have seen what happened. Meanwhile, Goldie and Knocker investigate a murder in a park. The Nemesis crew have to supervise a photo shoot for a world-famous model

Dave McCall is at the receiving end of a spear from a sunken and booby-trapped car, loaded with stolen gold ingots. Goldie and Frank Holloway investigate a bouillion robbery. The ""Nemesis"" crew are looking after a prisoner, a former Olympic rowing champion.

When the owner of an Import/Export company is blown up by a bomb down at the wharves, the detectives have to find out who is responsible. Frank wants to get better acquainted with the widow. Fiona Cassidy leaves the Water Police.

On a rain-swept early morning the detectives are called in to investigate when a distraught security guard shoots a robber escaping from the waterside warehouse.

Goldie realises how little control parents have over the lives of their children when she and Frank investigate the death of a 22-year-old girl at a party.

Terry jeopardizes his career when he falls into bed with Gina Downie, a woman he rescues when her dive into a shipwreck goes wrong. Terry believes their rendezvous to be just another one-night stand, but she has more sinister intentions which culminate in a near fatal attack on Terry. Frank and Rachel try to solve the puzzle of a woman found floating in the harbor. Was she murdered or did she commit suicide?

An old friend of Rachel calls her for help. She goes undercover as a drug courier, but when something goes terribly wrong and her cover is blown, the desperate drug dealers kidnap her at gun point.

A psychic tells Hawker she had a ""vision"" about a missing girl, and detectives are reluctantly brought on the case. Rachel establishes a rapport with the psychic but Holloway is skeptical, is she genuine or is she just after the $10 000 reward money being offered by the girls parents? Rachel meets a new man-and creates a new career for herself.

A young woman believed to be stalked by an admirer called ""Desperate Dave"" is reported missing. Tayler falls overboard when he, Sykes and Tavita tries to outwit a couple of bag snatchers, at Darling Harbor. Hawker finds out about Helen and Taylers relationship.

Rachel and her new man, Michael Jeffries are guests at a wedding on ""the Bounty"". the romantic setting is shattered when a body falls from the sails. Rachel puts her relationship with Michael on the line when she puts aside her persona and turn professional in her detective role. Frank and Rachel tries to solve the mystery of the dead body. An extortionist claims the killing is part of a planned terrorist attack on the Australian tourism industry. Gavin tracks down the man who stole his car.

The body of a Melbourne woman is found mutilated at Sydney Harbor, taking detectives Frank Holloway and Rachel Goldstein to Melbourne to investigate. The womans sister and a shady King Street nightclub owner seems to know more than they are letting on. A man pulled from the sea by the Nemesis crew claims his boat was struck by a cargo ship, sending him and his still missing wife overboard.

Rachel has difficulty adjusting to her new partner when Frank goes on an overseas attachment. Rachel and her new partner are thrown together to investigate a mysterious drowning. Constable Sam Bailey competes in a free dive competition.

Tony Brady from Internal Affairs investigates Frank after a petty criminal accuses Frank of assaulting him while in custody. A series of safe robberies in which evidence at the crime scenes points to inside jobs gets investigated by Frank and Rachel. Tayler and Tavita looks after two precocious children when their parents are arrested.

Holloway is suspended from police duties when he gets charged with the murder of Sam Jones. Rachel gets help from her new partner, Sykes, when she sets out to clear his name. Rachel believes Frank is being set up by Melbourne crime figure Charlie Hayes to discredit him as a witness in Gary Travis upcoming trial (from ep. 45 and 46). The boat crew deal with a pair of jet skiers whose antics are threatening endangered penguin species.

Franks second ex-wife, Liz Robinson, seeks his help and protection from a blackmailer who has photos of her having cocaine snorted from her naked belly. Tayler Johnson and Gavin Sykes have to deal with some prisoner escapee.

Liz is almost run down in front of Frank, and fearing for her safety following her husbands murder in prison, he suggests that she stay with him. Tommys relationship with Rhonda comes to a tragic end.

Goldie and Tavita investigates an arson attack on a boat which a teenage boy is found dead. The owner of the boat has a dubious affinity with young boys, but is he the culprit or the victim?

A woman claims her husband stabbed her and Frank and Goldie has to investigate the domestic dispute. After intervening in a dockside brawl, Tayler requests desk duty when shes unable to contain a suspect.

As the armed robbery gets closer, Holloways undercover operation becomes more and more dangerous. Despite polices ongoing investigation, Les is granted bail and threatens to blow Frank and Louises cover. Frank is forced to act as the getaway driver during the robbery but a sudden change of plans throws off the police surveillance unit and places Franks life in jeopardy.

frank gets pinned to the ground by armed robber Kiwi Dave, he holds a gun to his head and pulls the trigger, his near-death experience leads him on a one-man campaign and a journey of self-discovery. Helen is promoted to the rank of Senior Sergeant.
