After rescuing two children, Joshs rage spills onto their father, who may have attempted to kill them. The new inspector challenges Joshs position on the team

The TRG is called out to a sports oval where a heavily-armed gunman shoots Stella, who is saved by her kevlar vest. When the gunman requests to meet with a senior officer, Lawson approaches him and finds he was actually a former weapons-master who intends on suicide-by-cop. The situation ends when, after trying to avoid shooting the man, Lawson is forced to shoot and kill the man when he pulls a handgun on him.

When the TR team intercepts a known drug dealer, they discover that a robbery is about to take place, which then turns into a siege when the robbers take hostages. One of the criminals falls into a basement beneath the bar and later dies. Dom goes in to try to convince the robbers to stop, but the owner of the bar is shot by a spear gun. Eventually, one of the criminals gives up while the other is arrested

Michael is found cleared of the herpes. The team arrives at a big surburban party and find a group of teenagers have stolen a gun from a security guard. Stella and Michael then go undercover to try and retrieve the stolen weapon. Michael then saves a high school boy from being severely beaten by kids from a rival high school

Lawson is a part of a high speed chase involving a group of carjackers, Kerry is pulled over for drunk driving, and Josh, Grace and Michael are involved in a fatal car accident.

Lawson and Stella deal with a suicidal ex-footballer, Michael and Josh chase burglars through a series of complex tunnels, and Kerry is kept busy at the hospital where Dom and Grace are recovering. Grace unfortunately dies abruptly, while Connor confronts Josh after Grace revealed to him she was cheating on him with Josh.

TR is given the responsibilty of protecting an underworld figure, who is testifying in court. A decoy is used, with an actor playing the man, but it goes downhill after the actor is shot dead. Serveral more attempts were made, and Kerry comes up with a unique way of protecting the man. Josh takes the man by himself, but is later cornered by the people trying to kill the underowrld figure. As they leave, TR shows up and the men are arrested. The episode ends with Micheal kissing Stella as she sleeps, and Kerry and Lawson having a conversation about the report on TR that Kerry wrote

When a group of students are lured into being drug mules, TR races to stop them, as Kerry warns Lawson he risks compromising a federal investigation.

When a family court judge is taken hostage by a disgruntled father, TR tries desperately for a peaceful resolution. As the situation escalates, Shannon is in a race to talk him down before Josh is forced to shoot him. While Lawson’s attempts to catch a killer are hampered by journalist Jacinta Burns.

When an ex-newspaper editor causes a disturbance at Federation Square, Tactical Response tries to talk him down before he tragically falls to his death. A series of TAB robberies lead Tactical Response to link the incidents to a man attempting to settle a score. Meanwhile, struggling to deal with repercussions of the cyclists death, Kerry leads Leon on a wild night out.

TR is called to a domestic siege on the outskirts of Melbourne where they journey into dense bush to save a young boy. When Josh is shot, Lawson faces a dilemma in how to neutralise the boy. Meanwhile, Kerry receives the brief for the coronial inquest and must prepare to face the consequences of causing a cyclist’s death.

Michael puts his life in danger when he goes against protocol taking on a group of robbers single-handedly. Tactical Response responds to a suspicious car tailing an armoured van. Michael goes against standard operating procedure taking on the robbers single-handedly. When the robbers discover their operation compromised, Michael finds his life in danger. Unable to hold back, Michael confesses his true feelings to Stella.

When a baby is abducted Lawson races to find the kidnappers before the childs grandfather, a known criminal figure, finds them first. Meanwhile, a man threatens to jump from an apartment building after his girlfriend goes missing.

Lawson extracts an undercover operative from a drug syndicate only to discover she has crossed the line and is pregnant to a known criminal. Tactical Response races to track her down before her boyfriend discovers she is a cop. Lawson and Shannon negotiate the awkwardness of their personal and professional relationship.

Stella is caught in the crossfire when an informant is removed from witness protection against his will. When the negotiation takes a turn for the worse, Stella has to deal with the consequences of Alana being taken hostage. Josh and Shannon stake out two hapless crooks who are planning an armed robbery. Michael delivers a baby and finds himself a changed man.

Lawson and Josh come to blows when Lawson discovers Joshs relationship with Shannon. Meanwhile, Tactical Response tracks an escaped criminal who Josh believes has been wrongly imprisoned. Lawson tries to locate an elderly couple who were seen scoring drugs and have left suicide notes for their children.

A discussion about Kerrys birthday leads to a bet on who in the team will have sex with her. Meanwhile, Leon investigates a series of video store robberies, only to be caught in a robbery himself.

Meanwhile Melbourne’s water supply is contaminated by a woman who believes fluoride in the water has killed her husband, and Michael’s faith is tested when he loses a large sum of money while swimming with two underage girls.

Tactical Response attempt to find a sniper on the run, with an city under fire, the teams swiftly respond however struggle to find a reason for the gunmans actions.

TR score a lead when an ordinary civilian unwittingly implicates himself with Andrew Kronins gang. As Lawson pushes the man to get to Kronin, Dom takes umbrage. Dom snaps, turning his gun on TR and flees. As TR 2 track down Dom, Lawson exults when he recovers a substantial amount of the heist money.

Stella, Shannon and Josh help to settle a violent ethnic dispute. Lawson, Michael and Christian are on the trail of a volatile young couple who are desperate to get married, and meanwhile, Josh receives a drunken phone call from teenager Minka, who is the daughter of Tash, and Kerry receives a surprise visitor.

A runaway train ploughs through country stations on a collision course with another train. Lawson sets foot on the relentless express, unaware that he is on his own collision course with Andrew Kronin. As the final showdown beckons, Lawson will have to overcome more than just the train if he is to win back his teammates faith.

On Shannons first day as a Sergeant, her confidence is hurt after a juvenile delinquent steals the TR02 vehicle, however while pursing the criminal, she discovers he is easily avoidable. Tragedy strikes and Stella discovers shes pregnant.

A terrifying cyber assault on the city brings Josh and Tash together as they race against time to save the life of a badly injured woman. As the attacks increase in severity, Leon and Audrey must call on all their know how as they battle a faceless opponent who may be more than a match for them.

A group of Afghani asylum seekers have seized control of Frankston’s Peninsula Centre and taken several hostages, including the son of the Minister for Immigration. With the siege now in its thirty-third hour, TR’s stamina is put to the ultimate test as Lawson starts to question the integrity of his key interpreter.

Tactical Respose race into town, on the hunt for Oliver Ginsberg. They learn that Ginsberg has placed a very large bomb under the city and that he has plenty more deadly tricks in store for them. Lawson finds himself in an awkward position when he must work with Dom, now a member of the bomb squad, to defuse the bomb.

TR embark on an unusual and confronting assignment when they must remove a newborn baby from its mother as part of an intervention order. When the mothers family murder a police officer in retaliation, TR find themselves resorting to extreme tactics to catch the men responsible.

TR find themselves having to work with a slick, well-run private security firm to save the life of a kidnapped businessman. But is their leader, Michael Shmitt, all he is making out to be or does he have other plans in mind?

The members of TR are called to a mysterious island in response to a distress call. When one of them is injured, they find themselves in a race against time to not only save their colleague, but to find out who else is there with them and make an arrest.

The assassination of the Police Minister and a war brewing on the docks throws TR into the centre of a major new task force investigation. Secondly, Shannon keeps a shocking secret from Lawson and the team during an assignment to protect a woman...

Michael has been a busy man since being fired from Tactical Response. Thanks to the squads head honcho Kerry hes now undercover, and his job is to bring down the Raineys, a family team of cocaine importers. He sets up a buy-bust meeting in order to bring the Raineys down and coaxes Josh into becoming his wingman. The trade-off location changes at the last minute and whilst TR catches some of those responsible. Col Rainey has taken Michael and gone underground. Has his desire to prove himself to everyone put his life in serious danger? Meanwhile, Shannon finds herself face-to-face with her attacker.

Senior Constable Michael Sandrelli remains in intensive care whilst Tactical Response are left to pick up the pieces. Meanwhile, Shannon lets her emotional guard down.

The Tactical Response team continue their search for the man they believe is responsible for both the Police Minister and Michaels murders, as well as Joshs possible disappearance. They find out that he steals identities off people as a means of not being caught out, and Lawson has to make a big decision in order to catch him.

Tactical Response find themselves up against a carefully planned manoeuvre when Lawson and others are taken hostage by the Cuckoo as part of an escape attempt from a military courtroom. As part of the team negotiates for Lawson’s freedom, Josh and Stella follow their own investigation: searching for a bomb.
