After getting drunk and disorderly at her ex-boyfriends wedding, Dr. Mindy Lahiri realizes she needs to get her personal and professional life back on track.

When Shauna takes the office to the hottest nightclub in town, Mindy meets an unlikely potential suitor named Josh, who works as a lawyer for the New York Knicks. Meanwhile, Jeremy attempts to hit on a bride-to-be, and Morgan unexpectedly makes some extra cash as the clubs bathroom attendant.

When Mindy must find a new gynecologist, she asks Danny to assume the role. Eventually, he accepts - on the grounds that Mindy will feel too uncomfortable to go through with the exam. The two then play a game of chicken to see who will back out of the deal first. Meanwhile, Jeremy tricks Morgan and Betsy into helping him break into Mindys apartment to retrieve a valuable item.

Mindy is confronted with an awkward situation when her teenage neighbor comes to her for birth control. Meanwhile, Danny receives an anonymous complaint that Morgan has been inappropriately ogling Shauna.

When Mindy throws an office Christmas party at her apartment, she is eager for her colleagues to finally meet her boyfriend, Josh, but her plans go awry when she discovers a secret that Josh has been hiding. Meanwhile, Jeremy deals with doling out the office holiday bonuses, much to everyones chagrin.

Mindys goddaughter, Riley, demands that Mindy get a bunk bed for their sleepover. But Mindys plan veers off-track when Morgan and Danny help to build the bed, and it collapses, injuring Gwen in the process. Meanwhile, Shauna and Betsy find some surprising items when they snoop through the office in an attempt to find out whos stealing the People magazines.

Mindy thinks she finally meets the perfect guy, Jaime, only to find that hes way too close to his female best friend, Lucy. Then, when Danny gets dumped by Jillian, he tries his best to get her back with the help of Morgan.

When Mindy is asked to host a medical segment on the local news, she turns to Maria Menounos for help; Beverly has a difficult time keeping up with modern culture and technology when she returns to work as an administrative assistant.

Mindys friends and co-workers unintentionally throw her the worst birthday party ever. And, after storming out, Mindy stumbles upon a new group of friends with whom to celebrate. But when she ends up in a fight with her new pals, she receives help from someone in her recent past. Meanwhile, Danny and Jeremy compete for the affection of Mindys friend.

When Mindy goes on a date with a cute minister named Casey, she feels compelled to attend his church to show him that she is a good person. But when Casey admits to Mindy that he thinks shes a selfish person, she decides to go on the practices volunteer trip to a womens prison to prove him wrong.

As the doctors of Schulman and Associates prepare for a medical conference in Santa Fe, NM, Mindy receives a message from her ex-boyfriend, Josh, who is now living there and wants to talk. But Mindy is in for a surprise when she discovers why Josh moved west. Meanwhile, Morgan helps Jeremy work on a potentially career-changing presentation, which doesn’t go according to plan.

Mindy acts as a mentor to a college student. But when Casey and Mindy unexpectedly hit a rough patch, she decides to drown her sorrows at a frat party where she reunites with her old flame, Tom, and all hell breaks loose. Meanwhile, Danny and Jeremy try to woo Morgan away from the midwives.

Mindy and Caseys blissful time in Haiti is cut short when Mindy gets sick and is airlifted back to New York; Dr. Paul Leotard (James Franco), Schulman & Associates new resident OB/GYN, shares sex therapy advice with Christina and Danny.

After returning from Haiti, Casey has an identity crisis and thinks being a disc jockey might be his new calling. When Mindy and the office go to a music festival for their “work retreat” to see Casey perform, the substance-filled surroundings lead to a series of disasters. Meanwhile, back in New York, Jeremy hires a new doctor, whom Mindy doesn’t particularly like after he saves the day during an emergency delivery.

Mindy hits it off with a journalist named Jason, but Jason is a bit snobbish and finds Mindy to be too mainstream. To show that shes more cultured than he thinks, Mindy invites Jason to Christinas art show, where nude photos of Danny are on display.

In an effort to prove to Danny that she isnt judgmental, Mindy dates a wild skateboarder; Jeremys visiting father seems to prefer Peter over his son.

When Danny invites one of his patients to write about the practice on her blog only to discover she is a white supremacist, the team hires a PR expert to help fix things.

Mindy plans an office Christmas party for the entire building, so she can spend more time with Cliff. However, things dont go Mindys way when Brendan Deslauriers date steals Mindys thunder by performing a seductive "Santa Baby" dance for the party guests.

Jeremy sends Mindy, Danny, Peter and Morgan to Los Angeles to receive cosmetic injectables certification. Once they arrive, Peter attempts to track down the object of his affection, Maria Menounos, and Mindy runs into Casey.

Mindy and Danny confront the consequences of their kiss. Meanwhile, Jeremy and Peter devise a plan to poach patients from a competing practice that has shut down.

Mindy and Danny try their hand at dating. But they discover that redefining their relationship isnt as easy as they thought it would be, especially when the pharmaceuticals representative whom Danny used to date re-enters the picture.

Peter encourages Mindy to think more like a man. To test his advice, they head out to a bar, where they meet Lee, a smooth-talking first-grade teacher who is up to no good. Meanwhile, Danny tries to give relationship advice to Tamra.

Danny offers Mindy the opportunity to buy the other condo he owns in his building, but gets jealous when she begins to date Charlie, the police officer. Meanwhile, Peter dates a brain surgeon whom he fears may be too mature for him.

It is the beginning of firsts for Mindy and Danny, as they try to set new relationship boundaries for each other in the office. Meanwhile, things get a little complicated when Jeremy tries to organize a charity event with Peters girlfriend, Lauren.

Tax troubles inspire Mindy tries to rekindle a phony relationship with Cliff.

Mindy kisses a girl and doesnt like it while the boys play beer pong with Shonda Rhimes.

Mindy has no qualms about “borrowing” things that don’t belong to her, until she catches Danny’s mom shoplifting. Peters dream girl is a nightmare.

Mindy sets up Dannys mom, Annette, on a blind date that leads to a crazy sequence of events culminating in a date - and possibly even true love.

As the holidays approach, Mindy wonders if Danny is about to propose, and a case of mistaken identity leads Morgan on the perfect date.

A run-in with an ex-boyfriend has Mindy questioning her relationship with Danny; Morgan and Danny think they see Lauren cheating on Jeremy with Peter.

Mindy has some big news to tell Danny but, just as she is getting ready to tell him, his father (guest star Dan Hedaya) and half-sister (guest star Madison Moellers) show up for an unexpected visit. The whole crew is invited to Annettes house for the worlds most awkward family dinner.

Danny is upset with Mindy’s horrible eating habits and decides to make a deal with her that he will stop smoking if she stops eating poorly. Meanwhile, Jeremy struggles to fill Peter’s spot at the practice.

When Dannys priest dies after hearing Dannys confession, he frantically tries to find a new priest so he can atone for his sins. Meanwhile, Jeremy tries to force the practice to attend his one-man show.

Mindy starts to question Dannys commitment to their relationship when hes a no-show for dinner with her parents. Meanwhile, when Morgan thinks he overhears Mindy saying Danny is not the father of her baby, he gathers all the guys with whom shes ever slept, in an attempt to figure out who is the real father.

Danny and a very pregnant Mindy cannot agree on a birthing plan, but these ob-gyns are reminded that some things are totally out of their control.

Mindy brings her baby to work only to discover that her newest co-worker is not very baby (or Mindy) friendly.

Danny is forced to take Morgan on a road trip to California. They make a surprise stop.

When Mindys fertility practice faces financial trouble, she finds herself forced to take on an unlikely business partner.

Mindy goes on a date with an Indian guy who questions her Indian heritage. hurt by this, Mindy starts hanging out with more Indian people. Jody and Morgan fight over the same girl, who has a shocking secret.

Mindy overlooks professional boundaries and tries to intervene when her favorite patient decides to have a baby with her on-again, off-again boyfriend. The nurses are consumed by power when they turn Dannys former office into a lounge.

Mindy, Morgan, and Jody head to Mindys alma mater for a presentation, but things get complicated when Jodys new girlfriend decides to come along.

Mindy gets a new assistant when Morgan and Colette decide to swap bosses. Outside the office, Mindy’s dreams of fame are realized when Leo is cast in a prominent soap opera.

A mishap at Leos school forces Danny and Mindy to spend time together. Jody tries to win back Mindys trust with an extravagant gift.

While Mindy struggles to take care of a sick Leo, Shulman & Associates is rocked by a nurses’ strike led by Ben, a handsome male nurse. Meanwhile, Jody tries to sell the upstairs apartment and Brendan Deslaurier comes to Mindy seeking help.

As Jeremy recovers from his heart attack, the practice needs another doctor. Jeremy and Jody want to hire a woman, but Mindy isn’t sure about sharing the spotlight. Meanwhile, she and Ben are getting serious.

Mindy escapes to her childhood home in Massachusetts and discovers that her mom is using dubious methods to further her acting career in local theater. As Mindy and Rishi try to intervene, she learns that Danny is having doubts about marrying Sarah.

Still reeling from her breakup with Ben, Mindy finds herself living the same day over and over again, and realizes that the only way to break the spell is to make things right with Ben.

Mindy goes toe to toe with a cliquey mom at Leo’s school. Meanwhile, Tamra fends off the advances of an ex she never thought she’d backslide with.

Shulman and Associates is turned upside down when Mindy hires a down-on-his-luck Brendan Deslaurier. Meanwhile, rumours fly about whos the father of Tamras baby.

Mindy is forced to go solo on the honeymoon that Ben had planned for them. Hoping for relaxation and a new romance, Mindy instead finds herself on a vegan wellness retreat with her ex-fiance.

Mindy’s fertility practice is in danger and Annette’s upcoming surgery looms large. While Mindy and Danny wait for word on the surgery, Mindy attends Morgan and Tamra’s dream wedding, where she and the rest of the Shulman gang try to find their own happy endings.
