I Dream of Jeannie

The rocket launch for a space mission goes awry and Captain Anthony Nelson finds himself stranded on a desert island. When he opens an antique bottle lying on the beach, he becomes the master of a beautiful, 2,000-year-old genie named Jeannie, who is willing to grant him anything he wishes.

Tony is on a survival mission with Roger when Jeannie seems to have followed him. Jeannie proceeds to help him in every way possible by giving him food, shelter, and finally transportation while Roger suffers in the hot, sweltering desert.

Jeannie joins the WAF in hopes of becoming Tonys secretary.

Concerned about Tonys fitness for a spacewalk, Dr. Bellows orders him to the base for some tests. When Jeannie hears about Tonys mission, fearing he would spin out into space, she decides to sabotages his test.

Tony goes out to dinner with a famous movie star. Jealous Jeannie decides she wants to be one herself to get Tonys attention.

Eight-year-old Custer already idolizes Tony and when he sees Jeannies magic, he immediately tells his parents. Worried about Custer, they sends him to therapy with Dr. Bellows.

Tony and Roger are assigned to entertain two visiting Russian cosmonauts. As a symbol of friendship, Roger unknowingly gives them Jeannies bottle with Jeannie in it.

Dr. Bellows thinks that married men make better astronauts, so Jeannie once again asks Tony to marry her. When he refuses, Jeannie blinks up more romantic version of Tony.

Roger accidentally discovers the truth about Jeannie and steals her from Tony. He then uses Jeannie for his own greedy purposes.

Tony has to go on a three-week business trip to Rome. Jeannie begs her master to let her come along. He decides to let her come along under the condition that she can legally obtain a passport without using her magic.

Frustrated over Jeannies constant use of magic to help around the house, Tony makes Jeannie swear that she will never help him with her magic powers again. When he is kidnapped by a spy ring shortly thereafter, Jeannie has to watch helplessly.

Tony becomes General Petersons golf partner in a Championship game against two Navy man when Jeannie makes him a world-class golf player.

The new woman in Rogers life Madame Zolta is a clairvoyant fortune teller. Planning to reveal her fraud, Tony arranges a seance.

Jeannie steals a pair of slippers from a museum exhibition that were hers 2000 years ago.

Dr. Bellows insists that Tony puts on a magic show at NASA after catching him floating in his chair in his living room.

On their one-year-anniversary, Jeannie causes Tonys latest space mission to crash-land on the island of their first meeting. There Tony comes upon the bottle of the Blue Djinn who imprisoned Jeannie 2,000 years ago.

When Jeannie lets in a man into house who derides Tonys taste, she makes several valuable works of art appear. Unfortunately, the man is a representative of the IRS.

Tony has to retake an eye test to go on his next mission. Trying to help him, Jeannie gives him x-ray eyes.

Jeannie sends Tony back to the Old West when he wishes he had lived back then.

When Jeannie is jealous of an old friend of Tonys, he gets her to promise to not interfere again. However, the old flame turns out to be a mobsters wife.

Tony attempts to get Jeannies birth date from Roger who was sent to Alaska before Jeannie disappears forever.

When General Peterson hears Tony singing with opera, he enters him in the NASA talent contest.

Tony draws the authoritys attention when Jeannie puts three milliion dollars into his bank account because he is a low-paid astronaut.

Roger convinces Tony to let Jeannie grant him a wish. Roger accidentally wishes that he hadnt dropped coffee on Tony when he accidentally does. The result is a fabric that cannot be burned, stained, or cut. Dr. Bellows witnesses the impossible destruction of the fabric and attempts to find out how Tony had concocted this great invention.

Jeannie drives off with Tonys car and Tony ends up in traffic court.

After Tony reluctantly accepts a job in the private sector, Roger and Jeannie look into his very successful future. They try to change his mind by letting him think it will be horrible but he still takes the job.

General Peterson wants Tony to get Sammy Davis Jr. to entertain at his tenth anniversary at NASA.

Tony is sent back in time to defeat Captain Kidd who holds one of Tonys ancestors prisoner.

Jeannie puts a forbidden love spell on Tony. When Haji finds out, he makes Tony have several accidents that can only be undone if the love spell is taken off of him.

Tony discovers that genies lose their powers if they marry a mortal and proposes to Jeannie. After Roger and Jeannie learn that their children might get magical powers, Jeannie tries to keep Roger away so that Tony doesnt find out.

Roger invites Jeannie and Tony to his mod party but forgets that he and Tony have a special NASA meeting that night. So they give Dr. Bellows a phony excuse but things dont turn out as planned when he and his wife make a surprise visit at Rogers.

After not seeing her for over 2,000 years, Jeannie invites her sister for a visit. After seeing a picture of Tony, she traps Jeannie in her bottle and take her place as a way to steal Tony from her.

In order to prove that she can live without her powers, Jeannie transfers them to someone else for twenty-four hours. Unfortunately, that someone is Tony.

Tony is forced to cancel his first vacation in years in order to help Mrs. Bellows find a group to play at a charity bizarre.

While at NASA, Jeannie hits her head and loses her memory. Tony has to rescue her from the authorities.

Jeannie is jealous when movie star Bootsie Nightingale wants to date Tony for publicity purposes.

When Tony has an important report to finish, he tells Jeannie to help someone else and she ends up helping bank robbers in a heist.

Tony and Roger Healey are sent to Hawaii on Air Force business, but to discourage Jeannie from coming along, they tell her that they are being sent to the North Pole. During their stay, Tony meets an Admirals daughter, Eleanor, and they begin seeing each other. When Jeannie finds out, Tony tries to stifle her temper by lying his way out of it, saying that he and Roger are on a Top Secret Mission and one of his assignments is to protect Eleanor.

Tony accidentally locks Jeannie in a moon safe and tries desperately to get her out before it is sent to the moon.

Jeannies sister drops by for a visit,and having not found Jeannie anywhere,enters Tonys bedroom alone,and unprotected.Roger arrives,and overhearing him say that Jeannie is locked inside the safe,she decides to snag Tony for herself.She arranges for Tony,and another Airforce officer to switch travel orders so that Tony will go to the Middle East,and the other officer to go take Tonys place.Tony tells Jeannie that hell be going away for afew days,and that she should not worry,because Roger will take of her.Jeannies Sister seeing an opportunity,disguisis her voice like Jeannies,and tells Tony that while he is in Baghdad,he should contact Hadji,the master of all the Jeannies;he can free her.Having heard that Tony leaves for the Middle East,but he gets to the Place he believes is the tent of Hadji,he realises it is Jeannies sisters masters palace.She imprisons Tony in a birds cage.While back at Nasa Roger having been informed of Tonys arrival in Bagdad,he tells Jeann

ony, Jeannie and Roger go to England to check out a mansion that Tony inherited. When they get there they find out the mansion is haunted.

ony states his admiration for Mrs. Bellows and Jeannie takes it the wrong way.Jeannie asks Haji to take her powers away. He agrees to do so for one week. While Jeannie tries to cope with housework the old-fashioned way, Tony is wishing for Jeannies powers back. Amanda Bellows pays Jeannie a visit and decides Jeannie needs a divorce.

Jeannies sister arrives to give her a birthday present. She gives her two bottles of lotion, a white one to make her love her master more and a blue one to make her hate her enemies more. However, big sis changes the bottles and now the white one has the hate lotion and the blue one has the love lotion. After sprinkling the hate lotion on Tony, she becomes compelled to start torturing him by shrinking him and putting him in the oven. A few minutes later Roger arrives and accidentally puts the love lotion on causing Jeannie to fall for him. After some more torturing by Jeannie, her sister then arrives to claim Tony, but not until after she reveals her scheme to Tony. However, as Tony grabs the bottles, she switches them again. He then runs to Rogers apartment, which is now filled with expensive furniture and sexy female servants. When Jeannie sees Tony she puts him on a table reminiscent of the Pit and the Pendulum. Roger then mistakenly puts the hate lotion on and joins Tony

Its Rogers birthday and Jeannie and Tony throw a small party for him. Instead of a normal gift Jeannie decides to give Roger something he has always wanted, his very own wish. As Roger is leaving the house, Tony mentions the fact that the next day he is going on an important space flight and Roger then blurts out that he wishes that he was going on that flight and at that instant, Roger and Tony switch bodies. When Tony realizes what has happened, he and Jeannie go searching for Roger not only before he goes on the mission, but to keep Dr. Bellows from finding out what happened.

Jeannie gives Tony a mysterious candy from her mother called ""Pipchicks"". When it is discovered that the Pipchicks make Tony stronger, Tony tries to keep them a secret, but soon enough Dr. Bellows eats one and finds out their potential.

Jeannie does her brother a favor by babysitting his son, her nephew Abdullah. However, the baby cant stop crying and the only one who can calm him down is Tony.

A strange dog shows up on Tonys doorstep and immediately turns invisible starts attacking Tony. Jeannie arrives and saves the day and informs Tony that it her dog Djinn Djinn, who she hasnt seen in 2000 years.

To prepare for an upcoming mission, Dr. Bellows tests the compatibility of Tony and Roger for one week. If they get along, great; but if not, theyll be reassigned to different bases. Things dont go that well at first, but things go from bad to worse when Jeannie tries to help.

Jeannies sister provides Jeannie lessons in the art of catching a husband. Her quarry: Roger!

Tony picks up a teen age hitchhiker named Suzy who happens to be the daughter of his new neighbor, General Schaeffer. Schaeffer is a stickler for efficiency and hates all hippies, including Suzys boyfriend Harold, a very spaced out one. Suzy, afraid of having her father see her in her hippy garb, hides out in Tonys house and winds up seeing Jeannie pop in. Suzy then blackmales Tony into hiding out Harold or else she will spill the beans about Jeannie.

Roger manages to arrive in time not only to stop the wedding, but he manages to convince Jeannie that the Tony she was about to manage was an impostor. Later, Tony comes home and is subjected to torture from Jeannie, who thinks that he is the impostor. Tony eventually convinces her that he is the real one and as he is about to go tell the impostor that the assignment is over when he finds out that the phony Tony is working as a double agent for a foreign power. Doctor Bellows and Roger then arrive and have a hard time trying to decide which one is the real Tony, until Jeannie causes the impostors false teeth to fall out.

After Roger tells Jeannie the reason why Tony cant spend enough time with her, it becomes evident that they have too big a house and Jeannie wants to move into an apartment. She then sells the house to an important military personnel and when Tony finds out, he requests that she doesnt sell the house so she then makes the house invisible so that it cant be bought or even appear to exist.

Tonys sudden sleeping sickness causes Jeannie to consult her mother for advice, not realizing that it was Jeannies mother who caused it. Jeannie pleads with her mother to come back with her to Cocoa Beach so that she can cure Tony. After doing this, Mama lays her eyes on Dr. Bellows and it is love at first sight. She now starts making plans to make him her own Master.

Jeannie; reading a genies magazine; has found a new spell that turns ordinary objects into porcelain. this causes Dr. Bellows and his wife to think Tony is a real artist and Tony then asks jeannie to blink up amateur works of art in his garage. Things go wrong when Djinn Djinn the dog shows up and Jeannie accidentally turns him into porcelain and now she has to find a counter spell or risk losing her dog.

Jeannies Sister returns once again to make trouble for both Tony,and her sister,when finding out that if Tonys weight is notup to the average Astranauts requirements,then he will be washed out of the Space Program.So she sets out to first convince General Schaffer,and Dr Bellows that Tony is unstable mentally,and emotionally.And,then to have his physical changed to enormous to assure that he gets thrown out;to have the entire incident blamed on Jeannie.

Locking Jeannie in her bottle, her wicked lookalike sister Jeannie II trails Tony to the Cocoa Beach Cabana. In her efforts to win Tonys affections, Jeannie II also replaces the nightclubs regular singer and renders a seductive ballad ("Electric Days, Electric Nights"). Alas, from this point forward everything goes wrong, with Tony being publicly embarrassed and Dr. Bellows virtually being hand-delivered enough evidence to wash Tony out of the space program!

Reporter Charlie Farnum tries to get a hot scoop on the life of Major Tony Nelson. He goes as far as to rig up a camera and a tape recorder in Tonys house. However, Tony and Jeannie find out about Farnums scheme and thwart it. Farnum then resorts to blackmail when he convinces his wife and kids to lie about Tonys past and claim that they are the wife and kids he abandoned years ago.

Djinn Djinn, the uniform hating dog, returns, wreaking havoc with General Schaeffers dog.

After Jeannie leaves, Tony realizes he cant live without her and goes after Jeannie. When they return to NASA, Tonys announcement that they are engaged is a surprise even to Jeannie.

Against Tonys wishes, Roger and Dr. Bellows scheme to throw the future groom a bachelor party. The party must be kept secret from Amada Bellows and the other NASA wives.

Jeannie blinks Tony off of a plane in order to plan for a party, but when she puts him back in it he mistakenly lands in Havana, Cuba instead of Puerto Rico thanks to Jeannies guidance of the plane.

It is figured out that in order for Jeannie to be married, one of her uncles must approve of the husband to be. Two uncles end up showing; Vasmir and Azmir; and causing a whole heap of trouble for Tony.

Jeannies sister returns for a final time to foul things up again. This time, she poses as her sister and makes the others think she is having an affair with another astronaut named Biff Jellico (Played by Edens real life husband Michael Ansara) all the while Tony and Jeannie are oblivious to it.

New housewife Jeannie goes overboard when Tony puts her on a budget.

Jeannie, Tony, Roger and the Bellows go on vacation only to find there are no rooms available in the hotel they wish to stay in. Jeannie then proceeds to blink on a 13th floor.

Roger spreads the word to everyone that Jeannie is expecting but all the while its a misunderstanding and the only one that is expecting is Mrs. Djinn Djinn (the dog).

Jeannie has just recently joined a club at NASA and voted recording secretary. She then learns that there is an award competition coming up for the best husband and that the prize is a trip for two to Hawaii. She wants Tony to win so badly that she blinks him off his training and returns him at home in his sleepy state.

An old high school sweethart of Tonys sends him a letter saying she will visit him in the upcoming day. Jeannie becomes jealous and poses as her to fool Tony.

A hurricane traps Tony, Jeannie, Roger and Dr. Bellows overnight in the Nelsons house. Tony dreams Dr. Bellows figures out the real truth about Jeannie and her powers.

In this final episode of I Dream of Jeannie, Tonys cousin comes to visit and convinces Jeannie to put Tonys face on cans of chili and market them so they can supposedly become rich. The product is called "Cousin Tonys Texas Chili."
