S1E1 - A Bride, a Boat, and Bamboozled! 2009-05-25

Meet award-winning pastry chef and cake decorator Buddy Valastro and his over-the-top family at Carlos Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey. After beginning a week completely jam-packed with cake orders, Buddy gets a call from a customer he cannot possibly turn down. Brides Magazine is offering Buddy an inside cover photo spread but hes going to have to create a cake unlike any hes ever done before. Between arguing with his family, producing the standard 300-plus cakes the bakery makes in any given week and running out of sugar, is there any way Buddy and Company are going to get this opportunity of a lifetime cake done in time? All the while Buddys sisters are planning to throw their brother a surprise birthday party.

S1E2 - A Fire, a Fashionista, and Family 2009-06-01

Buddy and his team learn that where theres smoke, theres fire when they have to build a fire engine cake complete with working lights, siren and smoke. They also have to create a 30th birthday cake for two trendy fashionistas. This week also marks the 15th anniversary of Buddys fathers death so emotions are high as he recreates his fathers trademark cake for the family memorial dinner.

Its one of the busiest weeks of the year at Carlos Bakery with orders pouring in for Easter, and a last-minute Easter Bunny cake turns into more than the team bargained for. There are also three members of the family celebrating birthdays this week and Buddys sister Grace, whos never cooked for the family before, decides shes going to make Easter dinner.

S1E4 - Weddings, Water, and Wacked! 2009-06-15

The team at Carlos is hoping not to get whacked when theyre asked to make a huge roulette table cake for a local businessman. Its also the start of wedding season and the time-consuming wedding cake orders are piling up. A mix-up by the sisters not keeping cake orders organized throws Buddy off the handle when a customer comes in to pick up a cake thats not ready.

S1E5 - Bi-Plane, Bridezilla, and Busting Buddy 2009-06-22

Its another busy week at Carlos Bakery but Buddy cant say no to making a charity bi-plane cake for a local hospital. An unreasonable Bridezilla makes everyones life difficult after the bakery crew makes a cake that shes not pleased with and Stretch, the bakerys delivery driver, plots a revenge prank against Buddy with unexpected results.

S1E6 - Undead, Unclothed, and Unhappy Mama 2009-06-29

Buddy is thrown out of his comfort zone when hes asked to make a zombie cake for a couple of undead clients. This week the team also has to make an erotic bachelorette cake for some wild women. This cake seems likes its going to be all fun and games until Mama finds out and bans the bakery staff from making sexy cakes.

Buddy is excited to create an old-school wedding cake like the kind his father used to make; tall, ornate and filled with... live birds?! A dad-to-be comes to the bakery to order a giant lobster tail pastry for his pregnant wife. Little Frankie goes on a mission to catch live birds for the wedding cake.

Buddy and Company are like kids loose in a toy store, literally, when they are asked to make an FAO Schwarz-themed cake for a twins birthday party at the store. The Carlos team has a unique and challenging cake to make this week, a traditional Chinese dragon cake for a dragon boat racing team. Its also a big week at the bakery preparing hundreds of cannoli shells for the annual $.25 Throw Back Cannoli Day and on top of all that, Buddy and Lisa are celebrating their eighth wedding anniversary.

Buddy is used to putting out fires, not starting them, but all that changes when hes asked to make a tiki cake that spits fire. Buddy also has to make a bridal shower cake for his sister-in-law and Mauro challenges him to ice a cake while blindfolded...or hell have to walk around the bakery in a grass skirt and coconut bra!

Joey, Sal, and Cousin Anthony make items for the bakery in honor of St. Josephs Day, and Buddy and Maddelena stage an intervention for Mauro, convincing him to make lifestyle changes to become more healthy.

S3E10 - Color, Camouflage and Cupcake Day 2010-07-19

A war breaks out when the Carlo gang are challenged to show their shooting skills in order to make a paintball cake. Its also the annual Throwback Cannoli Day at the bakery, but everyones in for a big surprise when Buddy decides to make a change.

S3E11 - Key to the City and a Key-tar Cake 2010-07-26

Buddy and the team are asked by an 80s tribute band to make a retro cake. Also, Little Ferry, New Jersey, Buddys birthplace, presents Buddy with the key to the city.

S3E12 - Barbers, Babies and Bulls 2010-08-02

Buddy wants to make a cake for the barbershop where he has been getting his hair cut since he was a kid in honor of their anniversary. Also, Buddy and the team are asked to create a mechanical bull cake, complete with movement.

S3E13 - Mother's Day, Mama and Mom to be 2010-08-09

Buddy makes a Mothers Day celebration cake for the Adoptive Parents Committee, which is a nonprofit support group for adoptive parents. Buddy surprises his wife on Mothers day by having his children decorating a cake for her. The family celebrates as Lisa, Buddys sister, gives birth to her child, a daughter named Isabella.

S3E14 - Helmet Cake, Healthy Mauro, & Huge Train Cake 2010-08-16

Choo choo! Its National Train Day as Carlos team has to make a HUGE cake complete with tunnels for model trains. Joey wants to make a firefighter themed cake for his retiring fire captain. Mauros son helps his dad get healthy.

Also, Buddy makes a table hockey game cake for a Bnai Mitzvah.

S4E8 - Staten Island Chuck, Strange Oddities and Sal 2011-03-14

Buddy and his crew make a massive cake in celebration of Groundhog Day for Staten Island Chuck. They also make an upside-down cake -- which was a multi-tiered cake literally assembled upside down -- for a little girls Ripleys Believe It or Not! birthday party. Also, the family pay their respects for Sal, who died on January 30th, 2011.

S4E9 - Punches, Psychics & Piping 2011-03-21

Buddy makes a cake for WWE star Santino Marella, for a promotion for the upcoming WrestleMania XXVII; he also makes a cake for a psychic. Grace also becomes a control freak when the bakers were unable to make pastries just right.

S4E10 - Designer, Deadlines & Diagnosis 2011-03-28

Fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi commissions Buddy to make seven fashion-inspired cakes that models will carry down the runway. Later, Buddy checks on construction of his new factory. And finally, Buddy visits the doctor and finds out he needs surgery.

S4E11 - Tulips, Taxes & Take It Easy 2011-04-04

Buddys doctor advises him to take it easy and not lift anything heavy in advance of his hernia surgery; however, Buddy does not know the meaning of "take it easy". The crew makes a cake for the Philadelphia Flower Show, but in order to get the flowers just right, Buddy turns to outside help to assist. The guys also make a special cake for Buddys accountant friend, to celebrate the coming end of tax season; however, on account of his hernia, the cake may be more taxing on Buddy.

S4E12 - Second Anniversary, Surgery and St. Paddy 2011-04-11

Buddy undergoes surgery for his hernia; in his absence, he had Mauro take over making the cakes. Mauros first assignment -- making a second anniversary cake for a gay couple, who previously had their wedding cake made by Buddy (in the first season episode "Weddings, Water and Wacked!"). Also, Buddy was made Grand Marshal of Hobokens St. Patricks Day parade; however, Joey was jealous, as Buddy is not Irish.

S4E13 - Space Shuttle, Stepping Up & Surprise! 2011-05-30

Buddy takes his mother on her first visit to the new factory to show her around, where he discusses the fact that the new factory represents his personal dream, just as the original bakery was his fathers dream -- this inspired Buddy to make a special birthday cake for her, in the same style and fashion as how his father had done in the past, which literally says what he and the employees say about her. Later, Buddy makes a special cake for the Kennedy Space Center in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Space Shuttle program; however, in its request, they would like to see the cake "lift off" -- literally. Then, Buddy also requests each of its bakers to make a cake that would be included in the bakerys new online catalog -- the only trouble is deciding which one would make the cut. Also, Sunshine, the bakerys best cake artist, announced that she will soon resign from the bakery to pursue a nursing career. All this work at the bakery, and the stresses of fatherhood after the birth of Carlo, has started to become a little too much for Buddy.

S4E14 - Houses, Help, & Hitting the Road! 2011-06-06

Buddy takes on one of his most difficult cake builds, creating a cake that must represent houses from around the world for Century 21s 40th anniversary. To add to the challenge, it must also feed over 4000 employees and deliver to Las Vegas

S4E15 - Headphones, Helicopters, & Handcuffed 2011-06-13

Buddy makes a surprise cake for Anthony that looks like a DJ set up complete with lights and moving turntables! Meanwhile, a client stops by with a request to create a cake for their medivac unit and offers Buddy a chance to deliver it by helicopter.

S4E16 - A Big Bumblebee & A Bossy Grace 2011-06-20

Buddy is asked to create a giant Bumblebee cake to help promote the blockbuster movie Transformers 3 and the all new Camaro that will be on display at the New York Auto Show. Meanwhile, Grace is left in charge of the bakery.

S4E17 - Competition, Complications, & Communion 2011-06-27

Parkway Lanes hires Buddy to make a cake commemorating the 40th anniversary of their bowling alley. The owners allow Buddy to get his old bowling team back together and bowl; however, Mary decides to get in on the action and creates her own team in a men vs. women match -- the loser gets to cut the cake. Also: Buddys daughter, Sofia is turning eight and Buddy makes a cake for her communion. Meanwhile, trouble arises at the new factory over wiring, delaying construction.

S4E18 - Bugs, Break Ups & Burned-out 2011-07-11

An entomologist wants Buddy to make a cake for his bug club; also, he wants a cake made of bugs -- for his bug club members to eat. Also: Buddy makes a cake for a woman whos celebrating the breakup with her boyfriend. Then, Joey, who is stressed out after holding two jobs at once, is faced with a decision on deciding what job is more important -- his firefighter job or his job as head baker.

S4E19 - Moving Cake, Marbles & Mess Ups 2011-07-11

A veteran go-kart driver wanted a cake made for the championships, so Buddy makes a cake in a shape of a go-kart, actual size, but Buddy wanted to go the extra mile by making it drivable. Also: Buddy makes a cake for a friend of Joeys father, a former marbles champion, whos becoming 101 years old.

S4E20 - Cheeseburgers, Cures and a Challenge 2011-07-18

Buddy makes a cake for a hamburger enthusiast; this encourages the guys at the bakery to see who can eat the most burgers. Also: the bakery makes a cake for the American Cancer Societys Relay For Life, a fundraiser that practically touches Buddy, Joey and Mauro personally.

S4E21 - Campfire, Computers and a Concern 2011-07-25

Maddalena takes an order for a camping cake, but when the customer requests that the campfire in the cake be an actual campfire, Buddy is concerned that the fire would melt the cake. Also, Buddy makes a telephone cake for an Avaya convention -- that really takes phone calls. Then, Buddy and Joey go to the factory to take a look at the new ovens, but they are concerned that they wont work.

The bakers make a cake for a dairy farmers prize cow; not only do they make it life-size, Buddy also has it set up so it can be milked. Also, Buddy makes a cake for a boy whose family recently moved to Hoboken, with the cake being mostly made of Pop Tarts. Later, Joey, still having trouble on deciding between his firefighter or baker careers, asks Grace for advice.
