Vice President Selina Meyer and her staff - chief of staff Amy, spokesperson Mike, right-hand man Gary, and executive assistant Sue - are still finding their footing in Washington D.C. Selina decides to make the Clean Jobs Commission a pet project, but a series of missteps requires her staff to work damage control.

Selina celebrates 20 years in Washington, D.C., but tries to keep a low profile after a newspaper article paints her as a diva and rumors float about her feud with the first lady. Meanwhile, Selina’s college-age daughter arrives for a visit, and is surprised that her mother is looking for a dog but appalled by her reaction to “Selina” being on the list of names for hurricanes.

Bloggers nicknames for Selina become her next obsession; Dan goes on a fact-finding mission after his boss is snubbed by the president; its make-or-break time for the clean-jobs bill.

The vice presidents office takes some heat over a pregnancy rumor and the firing of a Secret Service agent, so Selina establishes some new ground rules about internal correspondence. Meanwhile, Dan tries to cover his boss tracks on the clean-jobs bill; and a staffers job may be in jeopardy.

Fresh off successful campaign appearances for midterm elections, Selina sees an opportunity to expand her role, but must first curry favor with Kent Davison, the presidents icy senior strategist. Meanwhile, there are new developments in the staffs personal lives.

As a hostage crisis in Uzbekistan heats up, Selina and Secretary of Defense General Maddox have trouble getting on the same page at their joint appearance at the Marine Corps Base at Quantico. Sue testifies at a congressional hearing on governmental efficiencies; Dan and Gary jockey for the Veeps ear.

Selina and her staff head to Helsinki to finalize a trade agreement, but are worried whether Selina will be received warmly in Europe. Dan call Mike for advice on charming the press and Mike leans on Jonah for help. Ken and Ben argue over how to deal with new intel.

With D.C. in the midst of a government shutdown, Selina is forced to furlough some of her staff. A damaging story leaks about Selina’s ex-husband, Andrew; Danny Chung takes advantage of the shutdown; Gary Jonah go on a run to retrieve Selina’s trash.

Despite being told to limit public appearances, Selina continues her plans; Dan tries to play both sides of a rivalry.

In Iowa, Selina courts possible caucus voters at a book signing for her new autobiography, while her team attends a staff wedding in D.C. As the day proceeds, she and her staff get word of a rumor that could affect the next election.

While Selina and her staff prepare for an Annapolis event where she will announce her candidacy, Dan gets word that "Saturday Night Live" has done a not-so-flattering sketch about her.

Selina has a secret lunch with a major strategist she may tap as her campaign manager, even as Amy and Dan are openly vying for the job. Meanwhile, Defense Secretary Maddox invites the vice president to his country estate; Gary gets bad news about his shoulder; and Mikes colleagues find out hes mixing business with pleasure.

In the U.K. for the 100th anniversary of WWI, Selina’s staff worries about Ray’s growing influence on the Veep. Meanwhile, Dan’s nerves begin to fray as Ben gets news that sends him back to D.C. Later, Jonah arrives in London, U.K. to spy for Team Maddox, and Amy leaks a secret.

With Thornhill ahead in the polls, Selina and her staff discuss how to make her more "folksy." In need of a job, Jonah meets with Bill Ericsson. Selina has an interview with pretentious journalist Quincy Carter.

Selinas staff frantically works on her first major speech as president. Gary questions his worth.

Selinas team tries to find a scapegoat. Catherine wants to support an anti-bullying campaign.

Selina and her staff scramble to avert a major internal crisis; Amy is angry with a new advisor.

The president is shaken by a dramatic incident at the White House.

While Selina fields questions from the press, members of her staff testify before a congressional committee about whether the Families First vote was intentionally sabotaged – and who was really behind the data breach.

Post-election night: Selina discovers a possible road to victory. Meanwhile, Amy must figure out if she is back or not; Catherine kicks off a behind-the-scenes documentary project; Mike announces that he and Wendy are adopting a baby from China; and Dan considers a new career.

Selina sends a tweet and Mike must deal with the consequences. Amy feels usurped by Bob, and begins to be troubled by his behavior. At a museum gala, Gary finds himself the belle of the ball.

Selina celebrates Thanksgiving in her own special way. Meanwhile, Ben and Kent manage a Thanksgiving Day crisis, deploying Tom James and VP Doyle to make statements in Selinas absence. Ben sends Dan to work for Tom James.

At the White House Christmas party, Selina bargains for votes in hopes of breaking the election tie. Meanwhile, the staff is preoccupied with the annual 50 Hottest D.C. Staffers list; Mike eyes a job outside politics; and Dan helps Jonah with debate prep in New Hampshire.

Catherine and Marjorie have a fight. Mike prepares for his babies. Selina is interviewed.

One year after losing the presidency, Selina attempts to secure her legacy. Dan tries to ingratiate himself at his new job. Amys brash D.C.-style personality proves too much for her new co-workers.

Selina helps monitor the first free and democratic election in Georgia (the country, not the state) and is reunited with an old "friend." Meanwhile, Mike and Gary hide evidence of a major mishap, and Jonah and Richard have an eventful night out. Back in the U.S., Dan tries to help Amy.

Selina settles on a location for her presidential library. Dan lands in a gossip column. Mike and Selina work on her book. Jonah tries to cement a big donation. Gary manages a mini-crisis at Madame Tussauds.

Selina tries to finish her book. Selina and her staff prepare for her portrait-unveiling ceremony, while Jonah tries to weasel himself onto the guest list. Dan works on his onscreen-chemistry problem.

Selinas book finally arrives. Jonah has a big meeting. Dan, Ben and Kent grab a drink.

Selina evaluates her past and present campaigns. Jonahs personal life sparks interest among the press. Amy makes an important decision.

In the run-up to the first debate, Selina makes a novel campaign proposal. Comments by Jonah create blowback. Dan and Amy take a road trip.

Facing increased scrutiny heading into Super Tuesday, Selina visits Mike to deflect attention from Andrews legal troubles. Jonah and Amy ramp up their anti-Selina campaign rhetoric. Dan attempts to exploit Richard.

The nominating fight between Selina and her rivals reaches its climax, as their race comes to a historic finish. Series finale.
