An unusual key, which Mike has kept in a secret box, is stolen from the B&B, putting Mike Woo back on the case of a theft he had investigated in San Francisco four years ago. Mike and Shelby head to San Francisco and learn about each other and their individual methods of investigating a crime.

An outbreak of vandalism in Cocoa Beach leads Detective Hineline to suspect Cindis cousin, Keith, of the crimes. Shelby is caught between her friendship with Keith and the fact that all the evidence points to him.

S2E4 - The Smoke Screen Case 1997-01-25

A string of arson fires covers up the disappearance of some endangered animals. If Shelby can relieve herself of her duties as ""Pearl the Safety Squirrel"" long enough to solve the mystery of the fires, she may be able to convince Hineline shes ready to be a real investigator.

Noah is kidnapped when he is mistaken for Leo, the son of a research scientist. Faced with the possibility of losing their friend, Shelby and Cindi convince everyone that Leo is really Noah while trying to find clues to track down the kidnappers.

S2E6 - The Eye of The Storm 1997-02-15

As a hurricane blows into Cocoa Beach, Shelby finds herself responsible for the safety of the guests of the B&B and in charge of investigating the disappearance of a valuable watch. Shelby and Noah are soon at odds, when they discover that one potential suspect is Melanie, a girl Noah has a crush on.

S2E7 - The Case of the Knockout Gas 1997-02-22

The ""Reddy Eddy"" chain of convenience stores are being filled with a gas that temporarily knocks out the stores employees. When they wake up, nothing is stolen! Is it revenge or just a prank? Unfortunately, Shelby has a crush on the son of one of the main suspects.

A videotape of a hit-and-run incident makes it easy to determine who owns the car used in the accident--its Detective Hinelines. Is someone deliberately trying to frame him for the crime? With the detective restricted to desk duty, Shelby launches an investigation of her own.

S3E2 - The Shell Game

A volunteer effort to help endangered sea turtle hatchlings find their way to the ocean has resulted in ""Black Out of the Beach,"" a campaign aimed at getting shore lights turned off during the hatching season. The problem is, its also resulted in a string of robberies at darkened homes. Shelby needs to find the burglar before the town orders the group disbanded.

S3E3 - Mystery In The Wilderness 1997-10-12

Shelby is on a weekend wilderness retreat with Cindi, Noah and some strangers when she hears about a micro-chip stolen from a computer lab on the radio. According to the report, the dangerous thief passed through the same bus station where Shelby and her friends had been just that morning. Its not until theyre stuck in a cave with the other campers that they realize someone planted the micro-chip on them. And that means that someone else in the cave is probably the desperate thief!

S3E4 - The Mascot Mystery

The star of the high school soccer team, the Clams, is suspiciously injured during a practice game. Everyone suspects the team mascot, Chowder. But when the coach finds the kid who plays the mascot tied up and stuffed inside his locker, Shelby looks for the real culprit among her schoolmates.

S3E5 - The Hot Dog Mystery

A sudden bout of food poisoning hits the cafeteria at Space Coast High, and Shelby searches her school for suspects. Could it be the work of a rival meat supplier? A nasty cafeteria employee? Or someone trying to send a message to the school administration? And if Shelby cant find out how someone made the kids sick, is there a chance it can happen again?

When suspicious injuries plague a touring theater company, Shelby realizes the only way to get close enough to the production to investigate is to audition for a part herself--even though she suffers from terrible stagefright.
