The men arrive in the village, but it seems to be abandoned. While exploring the area, they come across a little girl whos all on her own.

The men arrive at the mountain temple and are confronted by three masked figures. While Musashi fights them, Kaizen, Sahei and Heikuro try to save Sayo.

A strange man named Alfred welcomes Musashi and his friends into the lavish golden mountain before politely — but firmly — asking them to join Iemon.

While escaping with Sayo, Sahei comes across Iemon, who begs and barters with him to save his life. Then, the third traitor reveals themselves.
