Highlander: The Animated Series

Immortal tyrant Kortan raids a village for slaves. Young Quentin MacLeod and his mother are killed in the attack but Quentin soon revives. Immortals Ramirez and Mangus help him and his kid stepsister Clyde find their captured clansmen.

Quentins Dundee clan is attacked and robbed by a gang of raiders led by Mohar, an evil thug who has found a working machine gun. Quentin steals the gun to retrieve his clans stolen supplies but becomes tempted by its deadly power.

During a severe thunderstorm, Ramirez, Quentin and Clyde are forced by Kortans pursuing forces to hide in the Iron City, a gigantic abandoned aircraft carrier shipwreck that lies in the middle of a desert. Kortan himself arrives to fight Quentin one on one. During their battle, Quentin is temporarily blinded by lighting but fights on. Also, Ramirez reveals to Quentin Connor MacLeods martyrish ultimate fate.

Ramirez, Quentin and Clyde stumble upon a small matriarchal seaside community connected to the shore only by a single suspension bridge, which protects them from Kortans forces. The townswomen have lost many of their husbands and sons in Araks slave raids, so theyve come up with a plan to leave the country and Kortans grasp for good. They still posses the lost knowledge of shipbuilding, so they"ve constructed in secrecy a huge sailboat. However, Arak arrives and promises to release their men from slavery if the women turn over the fugitive trio.

Quentin must reach Immortal Ilrick and receive from him the knowledge of medicine to cure both his and a xenophobic rival clan from malaria. Meanwhile, evil scientist Asklepios is promoted and Arak demoted by Kortan.

Ramirez takes Quentin to see the Sandman, a tormented Immortal once known as Prometheus, who possesses the forbidden knowledge of atom and nuclear weapons. Kortan tries to get to him first and kill him to absorb this knowledge.

While searching for Yoshoda, a powerful Immortal who has the knowledge of martial arts, spirituality and illusion, the trio is joined by a mysterious teen who convinces Quentin to give up on his search for knowledge and become a warlord.

Haunted by a recurring nightmare in which he fights Kortan, Quentin decides to go to Mogonda alone and deal with Kortan once and for all. However, he finds allies among Mogondas shanty town people and they try to steal Kortans sword.

Ramirez takes unruly Quentin to the ruins of a city that was destroyed in the apocalypse to see how most teenagers live now. They witness a street fight between two teenage gangs and Quentin decides to try to make peace between them.

The trio visits Orane, a friendly blue-haired female Immortal who runs a technologically advanced underwater city and possesses the knowledge of oceanography and marine life. However, Kortan and his forces manage to track them down.

After a skirmish, Ramirez suddenly begins insisting that Quentin is ready to duel Kortan. Clyde is suspicious of this sudden change of heart, especially after Ramirez, uncharacteristically annoyed by her complaining, smacks her.

The trio runs into the Hurricane People, a mystical cult of Immortals who live in seclusion. They know a secret method of extracting electric power from whirlwinds, so Ramirez tries to convince them to share this knowledge with Quentin.

Kortan leaves Asklepios in charge for a day. Meanwhile, the trio must infiltrate Kortans nuclear power plant that provides Mogonda with electricity to rescue Volta, the Immortal who possesses the knowledge of nuclear energy.

Asklepios is mortally hurt during Araks skirmish against the trio. Asklepios protegee Valka, the head of Kortans spy network, is devastated. Malone suggests that the blood of an Immortal can heal him.

Highlander: The Animated Series (1994) NASAs space shuttle returns to Earth after 700 years and crash-lands. Kortans sleazy Immortal friend Emerson who knows the secret to invisibility is the only survivor. Kortan gets to him before the trio.

On the run from Araks forces, the trio finds a young boy named Doogie, who lives in an old tower. Ramirez notices Leonardo da Vincis invention there. Doogie asks them to wait for his grandfather, but Kortan and Arak show up instead.

General Kirk sends Kortans conditioned Anomas against the rebels in Mogondas shantytown. In retaliation, the rebels bring wild Anomas into town. Immortal Mahata gives his knowledge of entomology to Quentin, who tries to end the carnage.

The trio must help Immortal Fredrickson, a brilliant scientist who possesses the knowledge of genetics and is working on ways to revive extinct species, to defeat his evil clone who wants The Prize for himself.

Asklepios has created a giant laser super weapon that can torch a whole region in a second. The trio creates a diversion by pitting jealous Arak against Asklepios and tries to reach the weapon and use it on Mogonda.

The trio visits Matsuda, an Asian Immortal who possesses the knowledge of cybernetics. He creates the ultimate killing machine to assassinate Kortan but his plan backfires.

Asklepios makes an ancient missile launch control center operational again, so Kortan gives Quentins clan an ultimatum - either they deliver Quentin to him within 12 hours or they will be annihilated. The series ends on an open ending.
