Pepper Ann Pearson, a spunky too-cool-for-7th-grade girl, has just started middle school. Its yearbook photo day and just when Pepper Ann was thinking her life couldnt get any trashier, she gets a zit. The solution? Zit cream, but shell have to go to Abes Mall (or commonly called Abys Mall, as in your life will be an abysmal if you get seen there) to get this cream. At least theres an advantage, 33% discount!

In economics class, Pepper Ann and friends get assigned partners and have to work at a job for a week. Pepper Ann has to work at Food Barn with Milo. While there Milo gets a promotion, Pepper Ann? Nothing; Milo gets praise, Pepper Ann? "Clean this up clean that up." This drives Pepper Ann wild. Meanwhile, Deiter is not showing up at his job because hes been at the Food Barn eating all the strudels.

Milo, "the king of crunch," accidentally gets beaten by Pepper Ann in a Crunch Pod tournament. They then have a "whos better" fight

Pepper Ann and friends are assigned dolls that must accompany them everywhere. Pepper Ann thinks shes irresponsible because she keeps losing her doll, and cant get it to stop crying.

Pepper Ann and family go to vacation at Lake Tammy. No one ever gets Crashs name right, here are a few of the names he was confused with in this episode; Trash, Slash, Clash, Hatch. An opera loving accident.

Pepper Anns school gets a invited to the Sani-Paper toilet seat cover factory because no other place will allow them to come. While there she makes several observations such as; 1 large tree makes only 1 toilet seat cover. She then learns that theres much more going on than she saw.

The Hazelnut Middle School Otters are back and awful as ever. However, Pepper Ann gets in the game and becomes a star. But the success goes to her head and she needs to be taught a lesson.

Pepper Anns dad has called, saying he has a surprise for her. Pepper Ann thinks he will come and visit her. Meanwhile, Lydia and her aunt Janny are trying to have the best Thanksgiving ever. But; the turkey burns, Ned eats all the yams, and they have to resort to Butterscotch pudding as yams. So they go to plan B and dinner is solved. Pepper Ann finds out her dad is going to visit her next week. Everyone enjoys dinner, even Milo, who was invited by Pepper Ann, who is grateful for everything.

Milo tries to be more of a man by hanging out with guys, but the guys reject him because hes always seen hanging out with two girls. He then learns that how macho you are doesnt really matter.

Pepper Ann hears about "support" in gym class, and goes on a quest to find information, and a bra. She goes to her mom to find the information part.

Its almost Neds 16th birthday and Pepper Ann hears that Ned is going to get a new set of wheels. Now, to avoid parent drop-off, Pepper Ann must cram in 12 years of cousinly love to get on Neds good side.

Every year Pepper Ann works up her courage to sell something to a mean old lady, Veras mother. And this year Pepper Ann still tries like every other year. Now Veras mother dies and she mentions Pepper Ann in her will and Vera wants Pepper Ann to say some words at her funeral.

Pepper Ann reads an add a girl "Janie" who wrote her feelings in the Newspaper section, "Dear Debby" Pepper Ann thinks its her Aunt Janie so she starts to bond with her more often.

Pepper Ann finds out moose has a BF, "Shawn" and now Pepper Ann has to help them see each other in secret...Why? Because Lydia hates the Mother of Shawn "Margo Lassandra" Shes deaf in one ear which makes Shawn speak very loudly. Way back when, Lydia asked directions to this certain place and Margo didnt hear, and said something mean but was really words to a song. So its all been a misunderstanding.

Milo becomes accepted to a Zen Academy but misses friends at Hazelnut.

Pepper Ann, Milo and Nicky, get caught doing something bad at the school and have to go to a camp and learn how to survive in the wilderness together. After that get lost and split up.

Pepper Ann discovers an Unknown Word in the girls Bathroom, "Frasny" She passes it on into conversations hope to see who will ask and tell what "The Word" defines!

Its 15 years into the future and Pepper Ann has to go to Hazelnut middle school reunion to open the school time capsule. There she meets Nicky and Milo and they share a little bond. Then Pepper Ann remembers what she put in the Time Capsule. A mean ol Nasty letter saying a bunch of hateful words about the school!
