After only a four day courtship, Roxy impetuously decides to marry Private First Class Trevor LeBlanc and moves with her two kids to his Army post. Floundering in her new life as an Army wife, she takes a job bar-tending at an off-post bar. While on the post, Roxy meets Claudia Joy Holden, who believes that her husband Colonel Michael Holdens promotion didnt come through because of base politics. Another Army wife, Pamela Moran, is heavily pregnant with twins - shes secretly acting as a surrogate to get her family out of debt. Meanwhile, psychiatrist Dr. Roland ...

Trevor wants to adopt Roxys sons but her ex refuses to sign the papers. Pamela decides to reveal the truth about the babies birth and Denise has had enough with Jeremys violent outbursts.

Marilyn, who constantly seems to be in Pamelas business, seems to have a secret of her own which Roxy learns about. Claudia Joy holds a 4th of July picnic at her home but the celebration is marred by the bad news Pamela receives. Joan considers retiring rather than face a court martial and Roland goes to Col. Holden on her behalf.

ts Roxys birthday and her mother wants to plan a party for her. She asks Pamela for help with the party. Michael and Claudia Joy talk to Amanda about Jeremy and his behavior with his mother.

Joan finally comes back to the post and to Roland but Rolands guilt over his affair with a reporter begins to effect the future of his marriage. Franks homecoming from having his unit shot down is put in further turmoil by Denises job. Michael is about to have a career change. Meanwhile, Roxy tries to learn more about Trevor and Pamela finds out she loves her husband.

Joan finds out that Roland had an affair. Meanwhile, Pamela signs on as a new host for the posts radio station and Lenore Baker reveals more information about Claudia Joys past.

In the first season finale, weapons are found missing. This prompts Michael to put the post on high alert, deploying soldiers in response to this possible terrorist attack.

Joan struggles with her decision to terminate her pregnancy; Roxy takes in Betty while she recovers from the bombing; Pamela is frustrated by Chases ongoing secrets about his work.

Denise continues to assert independence by trying new things, including learning to ride a motorcycle. Joan finally speaks openly about her pregnancy

Betty learns that her cancer is advancing and decides to fulfill her life long dream of driving across country in a Ford Mustang. Increasingly nervous about becoming a father, Roland spends the day at the hospitals baby ward getting advice from Denise. Rumors swirl about Denises friendship with Getti, when another nurse sees them together off post.

Roland is suspected of inappropriate behavior with one of his students; Roxy hires a new waitress; Pamela is stunned when Chase is arrested.

Joan is restricted to bed rest with pregnancy complications; Trevor is upset when his injury prevents his return to combat; Frank senses a change in Denise when he returns home from Iraq.

Claudia Joy learns the reason for her mothers visit; Roxy, Denise, Claudia Joy and Pamela throw Roland and Joan a baby shower; Denise pleads with Frank to go with her to marital counseling; Trevor learns the fate of one of his fellow soldiers.

Roxy struggles to take control of the bar away from Collin. Denise faces serious consequences as news of her affair spreads around the hospital. Overseas, Frank volunteers to lead a dangerous mission.

Claudia Joy house hunts as Emmalins rebellious ways continue. Pamela is also on the lookout for a new place because her kids no longer want to share a room. Elsewhere, Roland is confronted by an outside therapist about the care available for soldiers and Trevors career is jeopardized by a bad call he makes during a drill.

Roxys hope for a grand reopening of the Hump bar doesnt go off without a hitch. Pamela is offered a coaching position on her sons football team. Joan wants to get her daughter, Sarah Elizabeth, christened before her deployment to Iraq. Chase comes home early from his current deployment, but finds the hardest part will be adjusting to life back home at Fort Marshall.

Pamela tries to get her sons coach to use the better ways to teach the team sportsmanship. Denise and Frank try to repair their marriage. Joan and Evan are pitted against one another in a war games exercise. Haneen is a guest of the Holdens while preparing for surgery.

Michael and Emmalin spend some quality time together to rebuild their relationship. Claudia Joy escorts Haneen back home to the Middle East. Roxy is concerned that Finn is having difficulties in school.

Claudia Joy and Denise find themselves serving as companions for the widow of a former senator, Mrs. Jean Calhoun (guest-star Kelly Bishop), who is visiting post for a ground-breaking ceremony. Roland finds a way to comfort Joan about her upcoming deployment. Roxy tries to impress the principal at an exclusive private school where she hopes Finn is accepted. Country star Jack Ingram performs at the Hump Bar.

Michael and Emmalin are puzzled when Claudia Joy informs them that she does not want her friends or anyone on post to find out about her medical condition. Trevor begins his work as an army recruiter and finds the job is more challenging than he initially thought. Two weeks after Chase was expected to return home, Pamela begins to wonder why he hasnt gotten in touch with her. Demanding answers, Pamela camps out in front of the building where she believes Chase is being treated for injuries.

When Roxy and Pamela meet two older army wives, Elise (guest-star Lois Smith) and Virginia (guest-star Barbara Barrier), in a nursing home, they get a glimpse into Fort Marshall during WWII. Elise and Virginia share their stories and relive their experiences through flashbacks. Roxy and Pamela discover the parallel challenges that army wives have dealt with throughout the years, while also seeing how society has evolved culturally.

Roxy, Denise, Pamela and Claudia Joy attend a golf tournament where they are confronted with both fierce opponents and Denises competitive streak. Roland lands in hot water as he attempts to help a patient and Jeremy reunites with an old friend. In the mean time Michael receives bad news

Denise and Frank face the aftermath of the gunshot that was fired in their home. Trevor and Roxy celebrate the impending arrival of their new baby, but Roxy is hesitant to share the good news with the rest of the tribe. Pamela, in need of a break and still struggling in her marriage to Chase, unexpectedly takes the kids away for a vacation. Claudia Joy learns that she has been nominated as a finalist for the Army Spouse of the Year. Roland becomes distracted from work when he receives news of Joan’s condition but steps up to help Denise and Frank through a their difficult time.

Claudia Joy hosts a breakfast for the Army Spouse of the Year Award finalists and the catty nature of fellow nominee, Lenore (guest star Rhoda Griffis), comes out in full force. Roxy and Trevor tell TJ and Finn about the new baby. Joan finds inspiration with other soldiers at the hospital. Roland returns to work to find an unexpected guest, his former business partner Terrance Price (guest star Clifton Powell). Emmalin cancels plans with her dad to help a new girl on post meet some of her friends.

As Claudia Joy as begins preparations for the annual mothers day brunch, Michael gets a visit from his aunt Edie and the reason for the unexpected visit comes as a shock to both Michael and Claudia Joy. Roland plans a mothers day party for his wife and gets a surprise he didnt expect. Trevor has an awful time planning the perfect mothers day for Roxy.

Chase returns home and appears to be making an effort in reprioritizing his life with Pamela and the kids. Claudia Joy, eager to finish her law degree, has an interview with Alex Miller, the Dean of Admissions at Carolina Law School. Denise is faced with a difficult choice in regard to Jeremy.

Denise and Frank help babysit Sarah Elizabeth while her parents are going for a bike ride. Frank suddenly remembers what raising a baby can be like. Pamela must adjust to life without the base privileges and realizes that without those privileges things are a lot harder to get. After looking at her grades for the recent exam she took Claudia joy becomes part of the study group that will hopefully help her argue all issues of the law instead of one side. Roxy and Trevor are trying to conceive but arent having much luck. Roxy finally figures out what may be the reason behind her inability to conceive, Trevor receives some news that will have an effect on whether Roxy and Trevor can have a baby right away.

Everyone on post is on high alert as Fort Marshall is on its 99th day without a fatality. Joan finally goes to the doctor and learns what is causing her symptoms. Denise is moved to dispatch duty at work and enlists Pamela’s help to locate a caller in trouble. Trevor proves his leadership skills and gains the trust of the new men under his command, including Jeremy.

With deployment around the corner, the families are all struggling in their own ways. Denise and Frank find out the sex of their baby. Joan has a particularly hard time dealing with her recovery and inability to deploy with her unit. Pamela explores the idea of dating again.

Emmalin gets permission to return to the ice and meets a new friend who helps her make a highlight video to college coaches. Joan gets clearance from her doctor’s to spend her first full day alone with Sarah Elizabeth. Pamela finds herself participating in a speed dating event at the Hump Bar. In the homestretch of her pregnancy, Denise is uncomfortable and unable to sleep due to the stress of Frank and Jeremy being overseas.

Pamela becomes involved in a murder case and is tasked with accompanying an out-of-town detective (Gabrielle Union) around Charleston. Elsewhere, Michael informs Claudia Joy he wont be in contact for several days because of a mission.

Denise is about to meet her daughter-in-law but things dont go smoothly. Denise is meeting with Tonya gets off to a rocky start because Molly isnt feeling too well. They meet again for the second time Tonya doesnt trust Denise is medical training and isnt sure the diagnosis of colic isnt the right one for Molly. Emmalin goes to college while Frank, Michael, Trevor, and Jeremy are all in Afghanistan fighting the war.

Claudia Joy begins her first day working an associate to professor chandler in his law firm, but today takes an unexpected turn planned Claudia Joy is yelled at. Roxy feels that Pamela may not want to be friends with her anymore. Roland and Joan have to figure out where their daughter will go for preschool. A wedding shower is planned for Jeremys fiancée Tonya.

The aftermath of an unexpected loss leads to life-changing decisions for the wives.

An Army wife facing deportation gets help from Claudia Joy and Chandler; Roxy makes headway with her plans for a truck stop; and Roland and Joan babysit Molly when Denise gets the flu.

Despite the sadness that she feels, Denise finds the strength to be there for Jeremy’s friends when they need her most. Things are tense between Roxy and Trevor as she struggles to find a way to tell him about the truck stop. Roland and Joan are determined to do whatever they have to do to adopt a baby, but a situation with one of Rolands patients leads them to consider other options.

Claudia Joy is happy to have Emmalin and Michael back under the same roof, but its clear to Claudia Joy that they both have something else on their minds. An incident on post reminds Denise how much she misses being a nurse. Pamela is worried when Boone is assigned to evaluate her job performance.

Claudia Joy has difficulty dealing with the way people are treating her and Michael; Joan finds it tough to bond with David; Roxys truck stop nears completion; and Denise attempts to help Tanya cope with life without Jeremy.

In the aftermath of the hurricane, one Army Wife fights for her life, another searches for a place to live after her apartment building is destroyed and Joan gets overwhelmed trying to manage the aftereffects of the storm.

Denise welcomes someone new to Fort Marshall Claudia Joy feels uncomfortable around her and confides about the uneasiness an old friend. Rowland gets an interesting opportunity at a youth center. Roxy has to adjust to the challenges that come with being an officers wife.

Joan will be dealing with controversy involving her newly adopted son, David after he and a classmate get into an accident. The wives gather to support the family. The friendship between Claudia Joy and Denise gets into trouble after the animosity between Jackie Clark and Claudia joy continues. Roxie and Trevor help a couple try to straighten them there relationship out.

The 23rd division is called to go to Africa where help is needed urgently. Tanya and another doctor work to save a wounded sergeant. Claudia Joy is back home dealing with her medical crisis, while Denise and Jackie pay a visit to the family of the sergeant and welcome them to Fort Marshall. Roxie convinces a rather reluctant army wife to participate in the family readiness group to make other self feel comfortable at Fort Marshall. Roland learns something about Charlie. Back in Africa the troops defend a medical clinic against a militia.

Denise notices a change in Frank after returning home from Africa and it begins to worry about his mood change. Jackie may regret taking over the duties of running the family readiness group duties by herself after wondering if she took on too much. Roxy and Trevor help a new family on the base with their money troubles. Tonya feels uncomfortable after bumping into Dr. Hansen while they were both in Africa and shared a kiss together.

Denise offers C.J. her kidney, but Frank thinks its too risky. Meanwhile, Roland and Joan meet with C.J. to discuss the legal issues surrounding Davids biological father; and Hector tells Gloria she should quit work because he doesnt like her flirting with customers.

Claudia Joy recovers from surgery; David communicates with Marcus behind Roland and Joans back; Trevor worries that Roxy is taking on too much while pregnant; a beach trip turns into a terrifying ordeal for two wives.

Claudia Joy helps retired veterans with their legal problems; Roxy worries about Codys depression; Trevor urges Hector to see a marriage counselor; Nicole gets upset when Charlie breaks the news of their engagement to Nicoles unsupportive mom,

Trevor and Roxy argue over his career in the Army right as Roxys mom comes to visit. Jackie is frustrated with how easily Sophie can manipulate her father even after getting caught using a fake ID. Denise considers becoming a nurse practitioner. Charlie and Nicole ask Roland for a big favor. Gloria struggles with what to do with her marriage. Roxy goes into labor.

Roxy and Trevor bring the twins home, and deal with the shooting and wait at the hospital to see if Frank will survive. Denise and Roland try to help one of Davids friends whom they suspect is being abused. Gloria tells Jackie she will divorce her husband because he is the father of Pennys baby.

Roxy and Trevor get ready to leave Fort Marshall; as Gloria returns to her duties at the Hump Bar. Sophie returns to find Kevin taken his anger over his handicap out on her. Roland is still in hot water over helping Marcus. Now Roland has to figure out why Joan is against it. Charlie wonders if she and Nicole will be parents.

The people of Fort Marshall mourn the loss of one of their own.

Denise has her hands full when she agrees to watch David and Sara Elizabeth. Latasha, Maggie and Denise are brought together when their boys, David included, get into trouble. Jackie worries that Kevin is returning to battle too soon. Joan is surprised by her new orders. The wives turn to Denise for answers and support when news of an explosion in Afghanistan rocks Fort Marshall.

Gloria meets a new guy at the Hump bar. Jackies son comes home with some surprising news. Denise and Frank celebrate another anniversary apart. Joan has a disagreement with Latasha and Maggie after the boys get in trouble again. Holly is disappointed when she cant talk to Tim after his squad is ambushed.

After an awkward conversation with Jackie, Gloria decides its for the best if she calls things off with Patrick. Denise tries to help ease the tension between Gloria and Jackie. Michael bumps heads with the new Air Force Colonel, Kat Young. Joan is reprimanded when she drops the ball at work to attend Davids basketball game. Maggie attempts to bond with Caroline. Eddie and Patrick arrive in Afghanistan.

The tribe gathers for Claudia Joys dedication ceremony. Denise gets caught up in an emergency at the hospital. Michael and Kat bond at a non-work function. Patrick reluctantly breaks it off with Gloria to keep the peace within his unit. Roland gives Joan an ultimatum. Maggie discovers Caroline has been lying about her whereabouts after school.

The men return from Afghanistan, but not all come home unscathed. Holly is excited to reunite with Tim but he struggles to readjust to life on the home front. Quincys injuries put his army career in jeopardy as Latasha continues to try to make ends meet. Gloria, worried Hector may have been seriously hurt, shows up to welcome him home while a disappointed Patrick looks on. Joan makes a decision about the Army War College.

When Tim goes missing, Holly reaches out to the tribe and Tims platoon for help. Denise catches Michael in a compromising position. Latasha and Quincy receive news about his military career. Gloria continues to be pulled between Hector and Patrick. Roland and Joan prepare to say goodbye to Fort Marshall.
