Our three long-term couples will meet with Dr. Nicole LaBeach to begin a nine-week relationship experiment. The first day will starts off with a bang as the couples learn they will be dating other people, and that this week, its ladies first.

A new couple is thrown into the mix when they learn that everyone is going on dates with other people this week; Che meets a new date who makes her question her relationship; Hollywood and Ashley are at a critical crossroads.

Dr. Nicole challenges the couples to explore the repercussions of family dynamics. As Ashley entertains a new date to Hollywoods chagrin, Tamika asks her parents to accept Vince, and Che & Michael come to an impasse over his son moving in.

Tamika finally makes a connection; Ashleys romance with Kwame heats up, and Whitney gives Mike an ultimatum that could destroy his relationship with Che.

Dr. Nicole has the couples discuss their visions for the future; Tamika and Vince seek to reconcile after a fight, Che and Michael consider his sons living accommodations.

In a reunion, Egypt Sherrod hosts as all of the couples, their dates, and Dr. Nicole are back to talk about what has been happening since the show. Have the couples set their wedding dates, or have they slipped back into their old dangerous patterns?

Our couples made it past the first hurdle of their long journey, but now its time to flip the script as the ladies get to go on their first dates! Opening up to Dr. Nicole, Shon starts to learn how past trauma is affecting his current relationship.

Nearing the halfway point, Darions connection with Kai causes Alexia to question his fidelity. Shon bonds with fellow entertainer Brittany, as LaRhonda is drawn to Sir James confidence. Eric and Jessica tackle jealousy when she goes out with Clarence.

Taking a break from Kai, Darion tries repairing his relationship with Alexia. Jessica gets closer with Sean, and Eric has a first date with Lealani. After a date with another new woman, Shon is forced to examine how hes been moving through this process.

As their visions of marriage continue, Jessica and Eric argue over children. LaRhonda bonds with confident Derrick, Jessica connects deeper with Sean, and Alexia confronts Darion over his affair with Kai, leaving their relationship hanging in the balance.

Its the final week of the journey, and big decisions will need to be made by Jessica, Eric, LaRhonda and Shon. After weeks of hard and emotional work, these two couples will have to decide to either go their separate ways or finally put a ring on it.

The men are excited to take their turn at dating new women, and while most of their partners keep their cool, one lets jealousy rear its ugly head. However, no one has more mistrust than Ken, who gets out of hand and steals Shortys phone.

Now that our couples are settling into the process, Dr. Nicole gives them a new challenge: going on dates at the same time and at the same place as their partners. Tension fills the air, and it might be too much for one of our couples.

The couples continue diving into their family connections; Charlana and Otis come to a breaking point; Shay gives Alfonzo an ultimatum; Shorty and Ken get vital insight from family; the girls get a night out to unwind and dish about the process.

The couples must choose to go on a repeat date with someone they previously dated or date each other; Charlie wonders if Chris thinks she is weak; Shay and Fonzo make strides; Shorty and Ken still struggle to show each other the respect they need.
