An Ordinary Woman

Marina takes the day to plan her daughter Tanya’s birthday, but work issues keep interrupting. Finances are off at her flower shop front, a new sex worker needs to be “interviewed,” and the day ends with a shocking discovery about one of her girls.

When Sveta’s body is found, Vera, a troubled but capable young detective, is called to the crime scene. As Marina and Galina try and erase more evidence of the murder, they realize Sveta and her boyfriend were blackmailing someone before she died.

Marina and Galina believe Sveta was blackmailing her last client and was murdered for it. When they set out to recover his identity, they’re led to a car compound where Galina runs into trouble. Marina catches Artyom with another woman.

Vera suspects the mattress was moved by a woman. Misha kidnaps Zhenya and uses her as leverage to force Marina’s hand. After her extortion plan goes wrong, Katya is desperate for quick money and meets with a madam. Will it be her own mother?

Antonina starts questioning her daughter-in-law’s finances. As Marina goes to rescue Zhenya, she receives a disturbing phone call. This time it’s Marina who is being blackmailed. If she wants to avoid prison, she must get another girl killed.

Liza blackmails her way into Marinas business; Artyom tries to confront her attacker; Oleg gets what he deserves.

Nastya and Zhenya bump into the Client by throwing themselves in front of his car; Katya forgives her boyfriend and tells him about the pregnancy of her dads mistress.

Marina learns what her sales assistants friends have been up to when she decides to close the shop; The Client has the girls delivered to him.

Marina devises a new plan: she calls her sales assistant and asks her to introduce her to the drug traffickers. Marina then calls the Client and arranges a meeting.
