Alex Polizzi comes to the rescue of more struggling establishments, beginning in Cornwall with 16-bedroom hotel the Fieldhead in Looe run by Julian and Gill Peck. The Hotel Inspector gets a surprise when she arrives at the Harrogate Motel and discovers that it’s neither in Harrogate, nor is it a motel. But the biggest shock is that the owners are deliberately not telling their guests that the place is situated right in the middle of a muddy equine centre, complete with 50 horses!
