Det. Reno Raines becomes a fugitive from justice when his investigation of illicit police activity leads a corrupt lieutenant to frame him for murder.

Reno races the police to capture a hired killer in order to determine if the man has information on Renos case--and to stop him from murdering a judge.

Reno is sent out to find the man who killed Jimmy, a motorcycle mechanic and finds himself in a small desert town. The town is run by a rich businessman who even has the local lawn under his control. Reno finds a biker club and infiltrates to find his killer.

In the middle of a huge storm, Reno stops at a seemingly deserted diner in a small town, but the place is taken hostage by escaped prisoners with a grudge to settle with the diner owner, who sold them out in prison.

Reno is close to capturing a vicious killer, when he encounters a feisty teenage girl, who is after the man herself after he murdered her FBI agent father. Reno reluctantly joins forces with the girl, but her hot-headedness jeopardizes the whole case.

Reno sets out to bring in Earl Lyons, a former comrade from Renos Army Ranger days, who now is addicted to morphine and has gone insane, living in the wilderness. Reno must stop Lyons before either the trigger-happy authorities, or drug runners whom Lyons double-crossed, get to him first.

Reno helps a woman with a flat tire in the desert. Soon after that the woman is found dead in her home.

Lieutenant Dixon and Frank Bickford think of a plan to finally capture Reno: They release a criminal Tommy, who looks just like Reno.

Joe Cortez had sworn revenge with his arrest. He breaks out of prison and procures himself weapons and money.

Reno helps out a man being attacked in the middle of the road. The man takes Reno home with him to Second Chance Farms: a place where ex-criminals who want to begin a new life are able to work.

Reno receives a video tape as proof that his estranged brother Mitch is still alive, despite being declared dead in Vietnam by the military many years prior. The video tape depicts Mitch competing in a rather sketchy underground cage fighting tournament. Reno decides to enter this strange underground world and investigate his brothers disappearance by posing as one of the fighters. He soon discovers that his brother has been brainwashed, and rescuing him from this dangerous and barbaric lifestyle will not be quite as easy as he once thought.

Hound Adams brother of Hog Adams,the man who tried to kill Reno,is arrested for assaulting a customer in a bar(he threw the man through a plate glass window).When information come through the news computer of his arrest,Reno,Bobby,Cheyenne,and unfortunately,Dutch Dixon all seek out Hound.Our Heroes seek to obtain the proof that Hound Adams has which could clear Reno of murder,and Dutch Dixon seeks the incriminating proof...and then to silence the Hound permenately.

He gives her money ($100) for it, when she left, he told his friends that she likes him. She calls Bobby and tells him that she have checked the serial number and that its def, the money that was stolen from the bank. When the honourable judge Holister in a brothel wakes up, he is in trouble: The girl beside him is dead. Holister, which can remember nothing, asks the gangster franc for assistance. In the meantime the father of the dead girl, ex naval officer Quinn, finds out that his daughter Shannon disappeared. He assigns Bobby Six killer to look for Shannon. Bobby and Reno uncover the thing very fast - and now Quinn has only a thought: Revenge.

A little girl (Charlie) helps her father (Tracy) to rob a video store. In the progress he steals a few videos as well, not knowing (at that time) there in money in the video boxes instead of videos. Charlie and Tracy were celebrating at a ""Coffee Shop"" when the men the money belongs to showed up and chased after Tracy and caught him, leaving Charlie hehind. Reno was also there to catch Tracy, coz he is a wanted man, but when the men took him, Reno took Charlie. She gives Reno a really hard time, but she then tries to help him finding her father. In the meantime, Hound Adams is buying stolen things and then sells/trade them again. He keeps on ripping his ""customers"" off. Tracy escaps from the bad guys (Walker and Doyle) then looks for Charlie. He had a ""run-in"" with Reno at a house, but he gets away from Reno. Back at the hotel Bobby played pokker with Charlie, but she keeps on winning. Reno tells Bobby (over the phone) about Tracy getting away again and Charlie tells them where

In Renos search of Hound Adams he ends up in a bar right at the time that the bar is being taken hostage. When the police try to negotiate with the hostage taker Dutch Dixon makes them believe that Reno is the one responsible.

Bobby and Reno are on the trail of the fugitive Travis Quinn, when they end up in the wild west where Travis was born.They end up on protecting Travis from a getting lynched.

With the help of a local sheriff and his deputies Reno tries to catch a bounty, but when things go wrong the sheriff gets shot. The mayor of the town wants Reno to be the new sheriff, when he refuses Bobby takes the job but when he gets shot too Reno becomes the new sheriff.

Reno finds the women who presummably stole the microchip and finds out that she didnt steal the ship and that the man who ordered the search for her had another motive.

The partner of Lt. Don ""Dutch"" Dixon (Steven J. Cannell), Woodrow Bickford (Ron Johnson), calls Bobby and Chey and says he has the evidence to expose Dixon. When Bickford turns up dead and video turns up showing Dixon killing him, Dixon goes on the run, or so it seems. So Reno heads out to track down Dixon, and get him to expose the location of the information to clear Renos name. Part 1 of 3.

Dutch is blundering. Jack Hendricks wants him to have therapy with Dr. Judy Kaufman, a psychologist experienced with bereavement or take a leave.
