Doctor Who: Scream of the Shalka

The Doctor, a time-travelling alien explorer, is sent by his people, the Time Lords, to liberate a small town in England from the tyrannical rule of a race of alien lava creatures called the Shalka. This full-length animated adventure, originally broadcast on-line on the BBCs official Doctor Who website, is the first adventure of the ninth Doctor, Richard E. Grant.

S1E1 - The Sound of Silence 2003-11-13

The Doctor arrives in the village of Linnet, Lancashire to find it eerily silent. He soon discovers that the locals, with the exception of the barmaid Alison Cheney, are terrified of strange creatures that live underground.

S1E2 - Meet the Monsters 2003-11-20

The Doctor strikes a blow against the Shalka. However, the aliens capture the TARDIS, forcing him to call in UNIT for assistance.

S1E3 - Trouble on the Move 2003-11-27

After capturing Alison, the Shalka force the Doctor to give them access to the TARDIS.

S1E4 - Sound of the Underground 2003-12-04

Having survived being thrown into the black hole, the Doctor examines a captured Shalka. The aliens take control of all of the evacuees from Lannet, including Alison and Joe.

S1E5 - Escape to Danger 2003-12-11

Alison has been implanted with a Shalka, which allows her to take control of the evacuees. The Doctor discovers that the aliens have mobilised other communities around the world in order to destroy Earths atmosphere and wipe out humanity.

S1E6 - Hitting the Right Note 2003-12-18

After the Shalka unleash their plan to destroy Earths atmosphere, the Doctor and Alison must find a way to defeat them and save humanity.
