14 men and 2 women arrive from around the country to compete for the $100,000 prize and the title of Top Shot--only to face a surprise right from Civil War history: exactly 150 years ago, soldiers had to pass a test to get into the first sharpshooting regiment. Using the same weapon, marksmen will face the same challenge and find another surprise. The two marksmen who had the best shots, two amateurs with dramatically different personalities, now have the opportunity to choose their own teams, a situation that sets the entire competition in motion. After choosing teams, they face a team challenge of extreme billiards and an elimination challenge which ultimately sees the first marksmen sent home. Colby Donaldson returns as host.

In this military-themed episode, teams try to blow up an ammo dump. Using the legendary M1A rifle, they face a literal uphill battle. One contestants shocking mistakes put his team in jeopardy. In the elimination challenge, marksmen face an obscured targets challenge using the Glock 17 pistol.

Its all about speed as marksmen face off in a head-to-head speed-shooting showdown. Using a Colt .45 and a rarely-seen Razorcat Racing Gun, contestants also get surprise visitors to help them with their training.

Its a Trick Shot Showdown! Contestants split a bullet on an axe, shoot with both hands and upside down as they attempt iconic shots from exhibition shooting history. Some marksmen step up to the extreme challenge while others fall short.

Marksmen face a supreme long-range test, the iconic 1000 yard shot. They will use the biggest gun ever used in Top Shot competition -- a Barrett 82A1 .50. Teams dissolve and it is every marksmen for himself.

Marksmen shoot while hanging from a 125-foot crane, then shoot from the back of moving jeep. In the last episode before the finale, the final five marksmen face the two biggest challenges of the competition.

The Season Three premiere begins with a shoot off between pairs of contestants using what many consider the most powerful hand gun in history. The winners will form one team and the losers the other. The first team challenge is a race where each team must carry a pole weighing over 200 pounds between eight foot tall firing platforms. The elimination challenge is inspired by the stagecoaches of the Old West. Skilled sharp shooters armed with shotguns and rifles were recruited to ride atop the coaches and protect their cargo. Hence the term "Riding Shotgun." The two contestants competing to stay on the show have to master the extremely difficult skill of shooting while bouncing up and down in a stagecoach with the loser being sent home. Shotgun skills are tested with a head-to-head speed shooting challenge. Leaders emerge and tension escalates on both teams. And its an elimination challenge unlike any before, featuring an elaborate machine, a Glock 34, and a line of non-stop cannonballs.

Competitors endure some old school playground dynamics as the teams call each other out with primitive weapons, including one of the earliest known to man. In the elimination challenge, two shooters compete head to head with the largest, most powerful weapon ever used on Top Shot.

A world famous pistol champion teaches teams some extremely difficult trick shots including shooting while blindfolded. The Blue Team is in disarray after a team member vows to go it alone. The elimination challenge features the classic cowboy skill of shooting from the hip.

The individual stage of the competition kicks off with the highly accurate McMillan TAC-50 Sniper Rifle. Taking aim at targets 500 yards downrange, one marksman has a meltdown and struggles to complete the individual challenge. In the elimination, its all on the line for two competitors as they duke it out with a notorious WWII handgun.

The five remaining marksmen face one of the most difficult challenges in Top Shot history. Shooters will use the powerful and compact SP89 semi automatic pistol while moving through the air upside down. With the last spot in the final four up for grabs, one competitor amazes the group with a stunning performance at the elimination challenge.

In the aftermath of a nail-biting archery duel, the elimination challenge is a fight to the finish with what many consider the "Perfect Pistol."

A mighty 3.2 inch bag gun cannon forces each team to work together; a heated grudge match pits two shooters against each other using the fast-flying prehistoric atlatl throwing dart.

Top Shot season one winner Iain Harrison returns to school the competitors in British weaponry. The team challenge introduces a surprising twist, and one team bands together to conquer the task. For the losing team, its off to the elimination round where two shooters compete in a high-stress precision challenge.

The competition features two challenges inspired by real life SWAT team scenarios. A physically demanding individual challenge leaves three shooters exposed for nomination. And, in an extreme elimination showdown, competitors race the clock as they breach doors with the Mossberg 500 Chainsaw Shotgun to take out targets with the FN FS2000 assault rifle.

From the Kentucky Flintlock Pistol to Crossbows and Grenade launchers--an epic assortment of weapons are featured. Four marksmen gear up to blast their way through the home stretch with hopes of becoming Historys next Top Shot. After a series of elimination challenges, only two competitors enter the final showdown which comes down to the very last second.

Many have fallen short of the title; now sixteen All-Stars compete to become the next Top Shot. In the first challenge, marksmen climb ropes to fire the SVT 40, shimmy up a pole to shoot the Larue Tactical OBR and balance on an unstable platform with the FAL ISS. Two face elimination, where the fierce M32 Grenade Launcher threatens to knock a player out of the running.

Fourteen remaining marksmen face an old challenge with a new twist. Players must pick a rival to shoot against in a head to head, high-speed showdown featuring the Sig Sauer P229. However, when two buddies head to the elimination round, friendships are put to the test. Nothing short of perfection will allow them to edge out their competition and guarantee their futures.

The fate of twelve rests on a roll of the dice. The competitors break into squads for a fierce side-by-side shoot out with the 1875 Remington Pistol. But fortune doesnt favor two, who must fire against the clock with the Ruger 1022 Rifle in an old-fashioned shooting gallery challenge. One will fall short and one will continue on to battle it out for the ultimate prize.

A returning challenge receives a daring makeover, literally throwing contestants for a loop. The spin of a wheel determines their bodies angle as they aim with the Rutgers Security Six Revolver. But two veteran marksmen do not deliver, sending them to the elimination round where they must cleanly fire a bullet through a narrow tube. Failing to shoot on the straight and narrow will unseat one and preserve his opponent for another day.

With the half the competition eliminated, the remaining eight marksmen continue to vie for the top spot. In a season first, competitors blast clay birds mid flight with Benelli Shotguns. In the elimination challenge, the cross bow pits two competitors against each other. But this season theres an All Star twist and contestants have to put up or be shut down–permanently.

In a blast from the past, marksmen fire the Browning M1919 from a rolling Army Half-track. Competitors call the shots in a game of horse, where one all-star fails to keep pace and is sent packing.
