Allison has a dream of a husband and wife committing a murder/suicide. D.A. Devalos introduces her to a friend of his, Detective Lee Scanlon, whos sister and brother in-laws deaths were also ruled a murder/suicide, and sees a connection. After learning about Allisons methods of investigation, Scanlon decides he doesnt want her help.

Meanwhile, Allison fears that Joe is having an affair when he repeatedly comes home late from work.

Allison investigates the supposed suicide of a girl who was dating D.A. Larry Watts son Greg. When the girls body is found in a ravine, new evidence is presented that implicates the defense attorney. Meanwhile, Joe is concerned about one of his colleagues after Allison has a premonition of the colleague having a heart attack.

Allisons daughter Ariel dreams that she is a young girl named Sarah being held captive by an ogre in a castle. While Joe agonizes over the possibility that both of his daughters have inherited their mothers psychic abilities, Allison tries to help Ariel and interpret the dream. Evidence shows that a pilot is indeed guilty of his wifes murder. However, in Allison’s dream, when the pilot is put in jail, there is a plane crash where hundreds of people are killed. While helping Devalos and Scanlon with the case, Allison discovers that her new friend Debra is the next victim. Allison goes to great lengths to protect Debra, but is shocked to find that her new friend isnt who she thought she was. Meanwhile, Joe debates being part of a lawsuit against Aerodytech, the company hes been loyal to for years.

Now that Allisons special abilities have been revealed to the public, everyones lives have been turned upside down. Allison starts to have dreams about a boy who was kidnapped from a toy store, but is unable to turn to Devalos or Scanlon for help. She decides to call the company hired by the missing boys family and makes an unusual deal with the companys investigator, Cynthia Keener.

Later on, the employers daughter disappears, leading Allison to connect her recent dreams about Paris to the disappearance. Now its up to Allison to save the daughter, which coincidentally will also secure Joe a job.

Joes mother pays a surprise visit, which worries Allison because she hasnt seen her since her psychic abilities became public knowledge. While enjoying her new job, Allison still regrets leaving the D.A.s office so suddenly, and has dreams about a serial killer running loose in Phoenix. Meanwhile, extenuating circumstances cause Ariel to start taking pills.

Allison struggles with her decision to switch jobs. When continues to have visions about a serial killer she is forced to choose between honoring the contract with her new job and sharing her information with the police.

Allison turns to Cynthia Keener (who is now in jail) when she starts dreaming of a former kidnap victim who Cynthia had once rescued.

Allison finds out she has a brain tumor and must get surgery to get rid of it, but then has a dream that the surgery will take away her dreams after dreaming that Castillo is going to kill Joe and the girls.

When Ariel acts strangely, Allison becomes worried that her daughter might be possessed with the spirit of a murdered stripper who wants revenge on her killer.

Allison believes she is having after effects from her recent brain surgery after experiencing strange symbols as visions. However, as the story plays out, it seems the symbols may be the key to uncovering the true identity of a serial killer.
