S1E1 - In the Beginning 2011-09-01

When Chris disobeys his father by sneaking into the Quantum lab to look at the Professor’s latest invention, he has an accident that almost destroys the top secret work-in-progress. Chris is mortified and doesn’t know what he’ll say to his father. SUPERBOOK intervenes and takes our three heroes on a journey to witness Lucifer’s fall and transformation into Satan during a blistering heavenly battle.

S1E2 - The Test! 2013-03-25

Chris is stoked because he got a Holo9, the ultimate holographic gaming system! But Chris starts to feel a twinge of guilt when he hears that a sick boy in the hospital would like to have one. It takes SUPERBOOK’S assistance to turn Chris around after he meets Abraham and Issac. Through Abrahams obedience to God, Chris learns that you should put God first, above all else (even an Holo9), and everything else will work out.

S1E3 - Jacob and Esau 2013-03-25

In the Quantum yard, during a spirited water fight, Joy accidentally gets Gizmos inner workings wet, and he fritzes out. Chris becomes furious with Joy, saying hell never forgive her. Superbook intercedes and whisks the kids back to the days of Jacob and Esau. The two brothers compete over many things, but when Esau gives up his birthright and Jacob tricks his father out of a blessing, they become estranged for many years. When Jacob finally goes to Esau and his brother finds it in his heart to forgive Jacob, Chris takes the cue and forgives Joy, as well.

S1E4 - Let My People Go! 2011-04-01

When Chris and the others talk about their favorite Superbook adventures, they have a hard time deciding which adventure was the best. Suddenly, Superbook appears to whisk them away on the adventure of a lifetime. They experience first hand Moses leading the Exodus from Egypt!

S1E5 - The Ten Commandments 2012-09-01

The Quantum family along with Joy and Gizmo are enjoying a family camp out when Chris secretly decides it’ll be more adventurous to ignore the rules laid down by his parents and the park ranger. His flagrant disregard causes Superbook to send our dynamic trio on a trip back in time so they can learn that rules are in place to protect you -- not to make your life no fun!

S1E6 - A Giant Adventure 2012-12-24

Chris Quantum loses the courage to play his guitar in front of a crowd. Superbook whisks the kids off to meet another boy who had to face his own "giant." Chris, Joy and Gizmo befriend young David who is taking bread to his brothers on the front line of battle fighting the Philistines. Its when David meets the giant Goliath that Chris finds the courage to face his own giants.

S1E7 - Roar! 2013-01-01

Chris is morally challenged “to do the right thing" when a smaller boy, Tommy, is harassed by Skateboard Park bully, Barry. Superbook takes the kids on an adventure where they meet Daniel and King Darius in the land of Babylon. Through this adventure, Chris learns that no matter how difficult the situation, when you stand up for what is right, God will be with you.

S1E8 - The First Christmas 2012-12-25

Commercial Christmas mayhem is reigning supreme in the Quantum household. After Chris offhandedly remarks that the family nativity scene is just another decoration like a reindeer or Santas elves, Superbook whisks off our heroes on a journey to discover the true meaning of Christmas!

S1E9 - Miracles of Jesus 2013-03-27

When Chris begins to believe that Miraculo The Miracle Maker magician possesses real powers, Superbook whisks the kids off to historical Galilee where Jesus is performing true miracles like healing a cripple, calming a storm on the sea, and banishing demons from a possessed man. During the course of their miraculous adventure, Chris comes to understand the power to perform miracles comes only from God.

S1E10 - The Last Supper 2013-03-28

Chris is getting big-headed because his band has been invited to audition for an American Idol-like show called World’s Best Band. To address this issue, Superbook whisks the kids off to Jerusalem. Chris learns from Jesus that even though Jesus is famous, He was humble and served others. During the Last Supper, the gang ultimately returns home, and Chris has a major shift in his attitude towards others.

S1E11 - He Is Risen! 2013-03-29

Chris is arguing with his mom, Phoebe. Superbook intervenes and, in a very special episode, takes Chris, Joy, Gizmo, AND Phoebe back in time for an encounter with Jesus’ mother Mary during the time of her sons crucifixion. When Superbook returns the family home, a wiser Chris apologizes for their argument, and their relationship is restored.

S1E12 - The Road to Damascus 2012-12-27

When a delinquent teen enters Chris and Joy’s lives, they don’t see any chance of him changing his ways. However, Superbook takes our heroes on a journey where they encounter the sinister Saul of Tarsus. Through experiencing Sauls dramatic life change, the kids return home with a renewed hope that amazing change is always possible with God.

S1E13 - Revelation: The Final Battle! 2013-03-29

After Chris accidentally burns down his familys home, he is sure that there is no forgiveness for something this big! Superbook then takes Chris, Joy and Gizmo to witness the end of days. Through this experience, he discovers the greatness of God’s forgiveness and restoration.

S2E1 - Jonah 2013-06-29

Joy witnesses Sharon Myers stealing a bike and reports it to the principal. To Joy’s surprise, Principal Travis offers Sharon mercy instead of demanding justice. As Joy questions why Sharon shouldn’t be punished, Superbook transports her, Chris, and Gizmo to meet up with a prophet named Jonah. Jonah is running away from God because he doesnt think the people of Nineveh deserve Gods mercy. Through Jonahs experiences, Joy realizes that mercy is a great gift to give as well as to receive.

S2E2 - Joseph and Pharaoh's Dream 2013-07-06

Chris has a very precise plan for how he is going to get what he wants; and he cant handle it when things dont go according to his own plan. Superbook transports him back to ancient Egypt. As he watches Joseph rise from prisoner to governor of Egypt and gain a long lost bond with his brothers, Chris learns to forego his own plans and trust a little more in Gods plans instead.

S2E3 - The Fiery Furnace! 2013-07-13

Chris wrestles with making a moral decision between right and wrong, a decision Joy warns could get him in big trouble. Superbook takes him and his friends back to Babylon during the reign of Nebuchadnezzar to meet Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, 3 men who chose to obey God and trust Him for their protection no matter the cost.

S2E4 - Rahab and the Walls of Jericho 2013-07-20

At school, Joy is not getting along with Becky (a new student). Suddenly, Superbook sends Joy, Chris, and Gizmo to a time where Israelite spies team up with Rahab. Joy learns that those who seem like enemies can get along and find common ground.

S2E5 - Esther - For Such a Time as This 2013-07-27

At school, Joy has to choose between standing up for Bonnie (a girl in a wheelchair) or going with the crowd. Suddenly, Superbook sends Joy, Chris, and Gizmo to a time when Queen Esther chooses to stand up for the Israelite people. This encourages Joy when she faces Janice and the Girls Leadership Club.

S2E6 - John the Baptist 2013-08-03

When Chris is faced with a challenge between choosing to act truthfully or to take the easy and more "fun" pathway, Superbook whisks the kids back to meet John the Baptizer. During an exciting journey that takes the kids from witnessing John preach and baptize on the Jordan River, all the way through to his incarceration and ultimate death at the hands of Herodias and King Herod, Chris comes to understand what it means to live truthfully and point others toward in the direction of being more like Jesus. When Chris returns home, he applies what hes learned. Although it doesnt change the boy he is trying to help, Chris himself is that much stronger, for the effort hes putting in and for the experience of meeting John the Baptizer firsthand.

S2E7 - Paul and the Shipwreck 2013-08-10

After a disaster in South America, Joy has to choose between finishing her mission or giving up. Suddenly, Superbook sends Joy, Chris, and Gizmo to a time when Paul chooses to focus on his mission, no matter the circumstances. This encourages Joy when she returns to face her relief project.

S2E8 - Job 2013-08-17

During the worst week of his life, Chris loses his grandpa. He feels as if he cannot go on. He wants to give up on doing what is right. Suddenly, Superbook sends Chris, Joy, and Gizmo to a time when Job is tested by God.

S2E9 - Noah and the Ark 2013-08-24

When Gizmo catches Chris and Joy skipping school to hang out with a bad role model (Pearce, the leader of an extreme skateboarding team), Superbook sends them back to a time when the world was fraught with evil. So evil, in fact, that God vows to destroy the world, saving only Noah "The only righteous man on earth", his family and a menagerie of animal species. As they witness the Flood, and Noahs unwavering faith in God, our heroes see how their bad behavior paralleled the worlds descent into sin. Heartened by Noahs example and Gods covenant with Mankind to never again destroy the world with a flood, they return to the present and reject Pearces dangerous influence.

S2E10 - Gideon 2013-08-31

When Joy is called to leadership in a difficult situation, she has to choose between taking the challenge or running scared. Superbook sends Joy, Chris, and Gizmo to a time when Gideon overcomes a difficult battle with the Midianites. This adventure encourages Joy to walk with God and conquer the task at hand.

S2E11 - Peter's Denial 2013-09-07

Chris is desperate to play with some of the cooler kids in school in an afternoon pick-up basketball game. Just as he demonstrates his Quantum Corkscrew jump shot, Joy runs in to excitedly announce that shes been elected Chess Club President. Realizing how "uncool" that sounds to the guys hes trying to impress, Chris pretends he doesnt know her. Gizmo promptly arrives with Chris sneakers, but there will be no game for him today. Instead, Superbook sends the trio back in time to meet the disciple Peter, who ends up denying Jesus three times. Later, after seeing the risen Jesus forgive Peter on the shores of Galilee, Chris realizes that like Peter, he was acting out of fear when he refused to acknowledge Joys friendship. Once the kids return to the present, Chris takes a pass on the pick-up game and heads off with his true friends to celebrate Joys accomplishment.

S2E12 - The Prodigal Son 2013-09-14

Aaron (a friend of Chris) gets in trouble with his father. He hides. Chris begins to wonder if what Aaron did can be forgiven. Superbook sends Joy, Chris, and Gizmo to a time when Jesus tells stories. One story shows us that no matter what we do, God will always accept us back into His family with open arms when we say we are sorry.

S2E13 - Elijah and the Prophets of Baal 2013-09-21

Chris is hooked on becoming the most powerful “god” in the online 3D game, “Battleverse of the Gods!" Suddenly, Superbook sends them to a time when Elijah battles the prophets of Baal. He shows the believers of Baal that there is only one true God.

S3E1 - Ruth 2015-01-13

Chris mom forgets that he has a trip planned to the lake and volunteers him to help his Great Aunt Isabel do yard work for the weekend. Superbook takes Chris, Joy, and Gizmo to meet someone who gave up everything to show kindness to her family. They meet Ruth, a young woman from Moab whose husband died, leaving her alone with her mother-in-law, Naomi. Then a kindhearted relative steps in to change their lives forever.

S3E2 - The Tower of Babel and The Day of Pentecost 2015-08-20

Chris and Joy struggle to communicate with a new student in their school who just moved from India. Suddenly Superbook takes Chris, Joy and Gizmo back in time when God created multiple languages.

S3E3 - The Birth of John the Baptist 2014-11-06

Phoebe is babysitting two-year-old Charlie for her friend, Mrs. Peterson. Joy has a hard time with the tyke, and she doesn’t want to help take care of him – “No way. Not now. Not ever!” Superbook appears and takes Chris, Joy, Gizmo, and Charlie to witness the birth of John the Baptist.

S3E4 - Isaac and Rebekah 2015-08-03

Chris neglects to listen to his father and follow the directions. Suddenly, Superbook takes them to spend time with Eliezer and learn the value of following instructions.

S3E5 - Naaman and the Servant Girl 2014-12-11

Joy is upset because she’s in charge of a big service project. She has done all the leadership work but finds no one is doing her bidding with the follow-up details. Superbook whisks the kids off to meet Naaman’s servant girl and follow Naaman’s story through to his amazing cure of leprosy.

S3E6 - Samuel and the Call of God 2015-12-11

Chris believes he is too young to be called by God to help Jason. Suddenly, Superbook takes them back to a time when the young Samuel is called by God.

S3E7 - David and Saul 2016-02-04

Chris vows to take revenge on some teens, but Superbook whisks the trio off to meet David, who has become a great warrior and foe to an angry and jealous King Saul. Chris watches as David shows mercy to Saul. After seeing David’s act of mercy, Chris decides against vengeance, and leaves judgement to God.

S3E8 - Nehemiah 2016-05-26

When Chris is asked to tutor two poor students who are also class clowns, he doubts he’s the guy for the job. Superbook then whisks Chris, Joy and Gizmo away to ancient Jerusalem. They meet Nehemiah, who is mocked and threatened as he rebuilds the walls of Jerusalem. Chris learns to do the job God gives you.

S3E9 - Elisha and the Syrians 2016-09-26

Joy is embarrassed by video of her eating that was posted online by a girl named Barbara. Joy plans to get even by posting an embarrassing video of Barb taking a tumble during cheer leading practice. Before she can upload the video, Superbook takes the kids back in time to witness miracles performed by the prophet Elisha as he narrowly escapes harm from Syrian soldiers sent to capture him.

S3E10 - Lazarus 2017-03-17

Joy hears of a little girl who was too shy to come to the amusement park. Superbook appears and sends Joy, Chris, and Gizmo to the meet Jesus as He delays going to see His friend Lazarus who was sick. By delaying, Jesus is able to perform an even greater miracle – raising him from the dead! Joy learns that God’s timing is always right. Joy, Chris and Gizmo visit the shy girl and create a series of amusement park rides even more wonderful than the real thing.

S3E11 - King Solomon 2016-11-28

Chris faces a challenge he never imagined when his father leaves him in charge of an important project. When he is unsure of what to do, Superbook takes the kids back to ancient Jerusalem where they meet King Solomon. There, Solomon encourages Chris to share his burdens with the Lord and to pray for wisdom.

S3E12 - Nebuchadnezzar's Dream 2017-02-27

When Joy is swamped by over-scheduled responsibilities and projects, Superbook takes the kids back to Babylon to meet Daniel in King Nebuchadnezzars palace. Daniel faces certain death unless God reveals to him the meaning of the kings dream. God answers Daniels prayer and the king richly rewards Daniel. When Joy and the kids return home, they are inspired by Daniels example to seek God in prayer for the solution to her problem.

S3E13 - The Good Samaritan 2015-02-13

While a “starving” Joy is looking forward to pizza, Chris is concerned about a girl and her brother who have nothing to eat. Superbook whisks the kids to time when Jesus told the parable of the Good Samaritan.

S4E1 - Jesus Feeds The Hungry 2019-01-27

Superbook takes the kids back to the wedding of Cana. The wedding feast is nearly ruined when they run out of wine, but Jesus miraculously changes water into wine. Superbook then takes the kids to witness Jesus feeding over five thousand people by multiplying a few fish and five loaves of bread into a feast.

S4E2 - Peter and Cornelius 2019-01-27

Joy and Chris are running late for school. If Chris gets one more ticket by the schools strict, letter-of-the-law student Hall Monitor, hell find himself in after-school detention. When Chris enlists Gizmos help to try to camouflage their way into school, his plan doesnt work. He and Joy get caught. Chris begs for mercy, knowing full well this thorn-in-his-side wont budge. The Hall Monitor has no interest in giving Chris special treatment over anyone else. Chris attitude about how unlikable this guy is-even though Chris is in the wrong and the guy is just doing his job-prompts Superbooks arrival. Chris thinks he can escape to a place where he is king of his own world. Only this time, Superbook brings the Hall Monitor back with them! Superbook brings them back to a time when Peter needed to learn that God doesnt have favorites.

Jia Wei embarrasses Chris by inviting students to a Bible study group. Superbook whisks the kids away to journey with Paul and Barnabas on their mission to spread the message of Jesus. They witness Pauls miracle, blinding an evil sorcerer and converting the Roman Governor to a believer in Jesus. The job becomes too much for disciple John Mark, who abandons the work and returns to Jerusalem. Paul and Barnabas continue spreading the Gospel against all manner of adversity including Paul being stoned and Barnabas and Paul separating over a disagreement. Chris takes their example to heart and when Superbook returns him to school, he, Joy, and Gizmo stand up for Jia Wei and his Bible study group. Chris takes a small, first step, on a journey towards pronouncing the Gospel as the power to Salvation.

S4E13 - Philip 2019-01-27

Chris is impressed by his father’s new invention. Chris covets the device and wants to use its power to impress his friends and earn lots of money. Superbook whisks the kids away to Samaria. There they watch Philip, Peter and John teach a magician and his followers about the true power of the Holy Spirit. Later, they find Philip in the desert and witness the baptism of the Ethiopian Eunuch. Upon returning home, Chris is a changed person. He has been awed by the power of the Holy Spirit and begins his path towards baptism.

S5E1 - The Birth of Moses 2019-09-06

Just as Joy is heading out to the waterpark, she learns that her parents are helping at the community outreach drive today. As Joy grapples with what to do, Superbook appears and whisks the kids back to ancient Egypt. The kids meet Miriam who is helping her family hide her baby brother from the Egyptians. Pharaoh has decreed that all Hebrew baby boys be thrown into the Nile River! When the family can no longer hide the baby, he is placed in a basket and sent down the Nile River. Pharaohs daughter discovers him and decides to adopt Miriams baby brother as her son and names him Moses. After returning home Joy realizes that God had a plan for Moses, and maybe for her, too! She decides to seek God to reveal that plan and chooses to help out at the community drive by adopting a more mission-driven focus.

S5E2 - Nicodemus 2019-12-17

Chris, Joy and Gizmo hit the slopes on a ski trip with the church youth group. Chris begins to grapple with what it really means to be a Christian. As Chris ponders this, Superbook suddenly appears to transport Chris, Joy and Gizmo to Jerusalem at Passover time. There, they meet Nicodemus, a respected Pharisee and Jewish teacher. In the dark of night, the children follow Nicodemus, to secretly meet with Jesus and learn that everyone must be born again to see the Kingdom of God. Upon his return home, Chris takes a leap of faith to follow Jesus and become a Christian.

S5E3 - Zacchaeus 2020-01-07

Chris is excited about his upcoming baptism; so much so that he forgets to show up at Joys volunteer event. Superbook whisks them back to meet a tax collector named Zacchaeus in ancient Jericho. The kids are amazed to watch how a sinner like Zacchaeus is transformed when he meets Jesus. Joy sees that Jesus came to seek and save the lost—including herself! Joy realizes that she also needs to accept Jesus as her Savior—just as Zacchaeus did—and begins to understand why Chris is so excited about being baptized. Joy prays to receive Jesus and then shares the good news with her parents.

S5E4 - The Sermon on the Mount 2020-02-06

After hearing Jesus Sermon on the Mount, Chris and Joy cant wait to put what theyve heard into practice. Comic chaos results from their over-eager and misguided attempts to put the Beatitudes into action. SUPERBOOK shows up to take them back to hear the Sermon again—and to walk beside the disciples as even they struggle to understand and live according to Jesus teaching. Chris and Joy witness Jesus encounter with a Roman Centurion and learn that the Kingdom of God is open to everyone who accepts the Lord and tries to follow the narrow path of Christs footsteps. Back home, Chris displays his new understanding at a Bible study group that the first step in leading a Christian life is admitting you cant do it without Gods help

S5E5 - Isaiah 2020-03-26

Chris and Joy are excited about their upcoming baptism. As they look through old photo albums, Chris wonders why his family never were church goers, as his grandparents were. Phoebe overhears this conversation and becomes emotional. Chris notices his moms reaction, and wishes he could ask her about his questions. Superbook takes the kids back to meet Isaiah, a prophet who became Gods mouthpiece. Chris realizes he can be Gods mouthpiece with his mom. When he returns, his mother admits her heart has been stirred back toward God ever since Chris started talking about his baptism. Chris prays with his mom at the end, as the door to her heart is beginning to open to God again

S5E6 - Baptized! 2020-04-17

Chris and Joy were excited about their upcoming baptism, but heavy rains are ruining their plans. Superbook takes them back in time to learn what it means to become fishers of men including Ellie.

S5E7 - Jesus - Friend of Sinners 2020-06-05

Joy is excited to have new Christian friends and church activities to be wrapped up in. But, when one of Joy’s oldest and best friends invites her to her birthday party, Joy is unsure about going because it conflicts with a church group event. Joy doesnt know how to be the "new her" around her "old friends" who are not Christians. What if they don’t accept her? Is it okay to hang out with unsaved friends? Superbook takes the kids back to three Bible stories: The Parable of the Great Supper, The Calling of Matthew, the Tax Collector and The Sinful Woman. Joy is surprised when she sees how Jesus chose to spend so much of his time with sinners, tax collectors, the poor and those with infirmities. Jesus accepted everyone.

S5E8 - Paul Keeps the Faith 2020-09-03

Superbook takes Joy, Chris and Gizmo on a dangerous journey to Rome during Nero’s cruel reign. They meet Julia, a brave girl who serves in the prison where Paul is locked up for spreading the Good News of Jesus. The children discover that they should never lose hope in God’s promises!

S5E9 - Love Your Enemies 2021-01-04

Superbook takes Chris, Joy and Gizmo to see how Jesus is arrested, yet heals a wounded guard, and forgives those who kill him. Then Stephen forgives the people who stone him to death. Discover how mercy overpowers hatred and revenge!

S5E10 - Paul and the Unknown God, pt 1 2020-10-29

Superbook launches Chris, Joy and Gizmo—plus a droid named QBIT—on a two-part adventure through time and space. In Part 1, travel to Athens, where the Apostle Paul challenges people who believe in many gods, including an unknown God. The children begin to see how to tell others about the one true God!

S5E11 - Paul and the Unknown God, pt 2 2020-11-05

Superbook takes Chris, Joy and Gizmo—plus QBIT, a droid—to meet the Apostle Paul as he travels from Athens to Corinth. Discover how God reveals Himself through creation in the grand finale of this two-part adventure. The children learn to share how they know that God is real!

S5E12 - Doubting Thomas 2021-02-08

Superbook takes Chris, Joy and Gizmo to Jerusalem after Jesus is crucified. Soldiers say His body was stolen from the tomb. Why should Thomas believe the disciples who say He is alive? Who is the mysterious stranger on the road to Emmaus? The children discover that Jesus is always there for everyone!

S5E13 - The Promise of a Child 2019-11-06

Chris has writers block while trying to come up with a new Christmas song for the youth groups Christmas service. He needs inspiration like writers of Christmas hymns in the past. Superbook whisks our heroes away to witness Bible stories they have experienced on previous Superbook trips like the Garden of Eden, Abraham and Sarah, Moses birth and leading Gods people from Egypt, Ruth and Boaz and David and Goliath. Finally, the kids watch as Mary is told by the Angel Gabriel that she will give birth to the Son of God. With that, Chris, Joy and Gizmo are whisked home and Chris has his inspiration for his new song – "Promise of a Child."

S5E14 - Rescued 2020-07-08

Chris, Joy, Gizmo and Professor Quantum travel on a mission trip along with Pastor Aaron and the youth group. The professor is anxious to get his water purification system operational before nightfall and before a storm arrives. Chris and Joy roar off in the Gizmo-track 8000 to transport fresh water to the camp. On their way, the children encounter a young boy named Mateo. Superbook suddenly appears to whisk Joy, Chris, Gizmo and Mateo off just as a huge boulder loosens in the mud and begins to roll down the hill directly at Mateo’s house! On their adventure, the children revisit past encounters with Jonah, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They are reminded that God hears and answers prayer and has the power to rescue His people in miraculous ways.

The robot frantically tries to locate his friends while they witness Noah building an ark even though there is no rain, and Rahab bravely hiding the Israelite spies that Joshua sent into Jericho. The children learn how to be a hero in God’s eyes!

S5E16 - The Widow's Mite 2021-05-04

Chris has been saving his allowance and lawn mowing money to purchase an expensive new telescope. Meanwhile, the church youth group is involved with a food drive. Chris becomes conflicted about donating money to support the food drive or sticking with his plan of buying the telescope. Superbook arrives to take Chris, Joy and Gizmo to the Jerusalem Temple. There they meet up with Jesus disciples while He is teaching. As they watch, a widow makes a donation into the temple treasury. She gives only two mites, but it is all she has to live on. Jesus comments that the poor woman gave more than the other wealthy contributors who gave only a tiny part of their surplus. This causes Chris to rethink his attitude about tithing to his church. Once home, Chris wrestles with his decision, but finally comes to a place where, like the widow, he gladly donates all his money to the church mission.
