The Hayworth family is invited to the wedding of longtime family friend Spags. When Connor enlists Toms help to write and re-write a wedding toast, things take an unexpected turn between the brothers. Sarah realizes Denise is upset they never had a real wedding, while Marina meticulously plans her drinking schedule for a night out without the kids.  

When Tom and Sarah discover that their parents have been spending time at Connors house and not theirs, jealousy rears its ugly head. But when it looks like there might be more grandparent time for everyone, they learn to be careful what they wish for.

Connor invites the siblings to a party he’s throwing for his ex-wife, Emily. While he feels the need to prove that he is cool with their divorce, he is not the only one in the competitive spirit. Tom and Marina try to prove to each other that they still have game, while Sarah finds the perfect solution to the fact that she’s a bad gift-giver.

Connor invites the Hayworth clan to a San Francisco 49ers game as he tries to close his latest business deal. Tom gets a chance to showcase his football skills, Denise tries to get Sarah to come to terms with Shamiahs new interest in cheerleading.

The family is in for a wild night out when they accompany Connor to a club to help him jump-start his dating life.

Tom spirals when Connor dates a woman who broke his heart at summer camp. Then, family game night becomes an all-or-nothing competition between Marina and Denise.

Sofia brings out Toms adventurous side which ignites Marinas jealous side. Meanwhile, Sarah and Denise learn that Shamiah has been confiding in Connor instead of them, leaving them no choice but to take action.

As Christmas approaches, Tom finally receives his first advance check from the Sofia Salazar book, leaving him and Marina to decide what to do with the money; Sarah receives an extravagant gift from the parents at her new school.

While Connor looks to Tom for advice on how to come clean with Denise about a sensitive matter, Marina is surprised to learn that Sarah didnt like her when they first met.

Connor and JoJos Valentines Day takes an awkward turn when his ex-wife and daughter crash their romantic evening; a pregnancy scare derails Tom, Marina, Sarah and Denises dinner.

Tom and Connor vie to prove who would make a better sperm donor to Denise. Meanwhile, Sarah tries to prove to Alison that she has what it takes to direct the spring musical by throwing a successful fundraiser at Connors house.

Sarah very reluctantly asks Tom to help her write the Windmount Academy Musical. Meanwhile, in preparation to get pregnant, Denise starts a workout routine with Marina and Connor.

As Tom struggles to finish his book before his 40th birthday, his dad, Marshall, hijacks his writing seminar. Meanwhile, Denise convinces Marina that she needs to do something special for Toms 40th and talks her into doing boudoir photos. In addition, Sarah and Denise go overboard to impress a potential sperm donor.

Toms potential new publisher invites himself to the Hayworth family brunch which sends him into a nervous frenzy. Meanwhile, Sarah and Marina give conflicting advice to Connor about his relationship with Windmounts vice principal, Lauren.

Tom finds out that Connor is his new boss, which threatens to ruin Marinas perfectly planned trip to the Happiest Place on Earth - Disneyland Resort in California.

With a house full of Hayworths, nothing is off limits for discussion - including Tom and Marinas lives in, and out, of the bedroom. Connors patience as host is running thin so as a thank you, Sarah and Denise strategize a creative way to show their appreciation.

With the press tour for Toms book in full swing, Connor and Marina accompany him to promote his book in New York on one of Americas top daytime talk shows. Meanwhile, Sarah and Denise get a little too comfortable living at Connors house, which sends the wrong message to Shamiah.

After the shocking discovery of a new-half sibling, Tom, Sarah and Connor are tasked with breaking the unexpected news to their parents. Meanwhile, Marina and Denise team up to confront Denises stubborn landlord.

The success of Toms book sparks a change in the financial tides; and, with the extra cash in hand, Marina encourages him to spend some money on himself. Meanwhile, Denises parents shake things up during their visit to town. With their reveal of some surprising news, an unexpected Hayworth comes to her rescue.

After Marina begins working with a hunky new contractor, Toms envy causes him to overcompensate. Meanwhile, Connor involves Denise in his scheme to impress a new woman.

A natural disaster strikes, trapping the family under one roof and without power. As their electronic battery lives are depleted, the Hayworths are left with nothing to do but examine their own lives on the season three finale.
