Ex-con Tray is shocked to see how much the world has changed when hes released from prison for good behavior after a 15-year stint.

Tray and Cousin Bobby intercept the kids at school and take them on a trip down memory lane. Shay tries to track down the kids, and Josh reminds Shay that its her lie that disrupted the family dynamic.

Unbeknownst to Shay, Tray was invited to her mothers funeral reception, much to her disapproval. Tray stands up for Shay when her family gives her a hard time about not being there in her mothers later years.

In an effort to support the homeless shelter at which Shay volunteers much of her time, Tray resorts to old methods of raising quick funds.

Flashback episode of the entire day leading up to Trays arrest that culminates in present day Tray deciding to pay Wavy back for the years he lost.

Tray wants to see the twins birth video, and searching for it brings back emotional memories for Shay.

Shay rededicates a neighborhood landmark and reconnects with her old skate crew. Tray and Bobby get caught up helping an OWL (old white lady) in distress.

Josh and Tray have different experiences teaching Shahzad to drive, and he learns a hard lesson about privilege.

A neighborhood tough named BAMF threatens Josh and levies a \"tax\" on the food truck. Tray reconnects with another O.G. in an attempt to learn the new code of the street. Bobby has a new girlfriend, but she comes with more baggage than he imagined.

Shay quits her job and turns her energies to Trays food truck. Bobby gets a new job as an exterminator.

After six months of crashing at his mom’s house, Tray leaves the nest in search of a place of his own, but he must first get some sage advice from a wise OG on how to battle the demons of his past.

Tray takes Shahzad to his first basketball game and teaches him how to finesse his way to courtside seats. Josh feels insecure about his relationship with Shahzad and worries that hes not the cool Dad anymore.

When Trays relationship advice to Paul fails, Tray and company decide to take him out to the club so he can let loose and find himself.
