Jalal Shammout

Jalal Shammout is a Syrian actor who was born on February 23 1970 in Homs He graduated from the department of acting at the High Institute of Theatrical Arts Afterwards he travelled to France to finish his studies In 1993 he joined the Artists Syndicate Jalal began his acting career in the mid 1980s and he appeared in several shows including El Ikhwa The Brothers in 1985 It wasnt until the 1990s that he became a prolific actor he appeared in the shows Basma El Huzn Sad Smile in 1992 Khalf El Godran Behind the Walls in 1995 El Mahkoom The Convicted in 1996 Bint El Dhura Daughter of the Second Wife in 1997 Yaqout Ruby in 1998 and Jild El Afai Snake Skin in 1999 From 2000 until today Jalal has appeared in a number of dramas including Ayadi Fil Dhalam Hands the Dark in 2000 Salah El Din El Ayyubi in 2001 Saqr Quraish in 2002 Rabea Qurtaba Spring of Cordoba in 2003 El Hour El Ain The Houri in 2005 Ala Tool El Ayam Along the Days in 2006 Amar El Sham in 2013 and others He married the actress Andala Rawas after studying together at the Institute of Performing Arts They have two daughters Tia and Waliya
