Erik C Wiese born Eric Clark Eldritch January 24 1974 is an American animator writer storyboard artist and director He is best known for his work on the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants 1999present beginning with his character development and design for its pilot episode Help Wanted He is the cocreator of the television series The Mighty B 20082011 where he served as a director executive producer writer voice director and storyboard artist for the series He studied animation at the California Institute of the Arts
