Miss Wonton begins with the arrival of a young Chinese immigrant, Ah Na (Amy Ting), to her new place of work, the Buddhas Happiness in New York. At Buddhas Happiness, she meets other immigrant workersand hears their idiosyncratic dreams of the future.
