Judge Cass Timberlane marries a girl from the wrong side of the tracks, Virginia Marshland. After their baby is stillborn, Virginia turns more and more to Cass attorney friend Bradd Criley. While quarreling, the Judge tells Virginia to stay with Bradd, but when she becomes ill he brings her home.
