After years of anxious waiting, a suitable heart becomes available for Jill Maddox. It isnt rejected by her body, but feels very strange and seems to change her character completely, mainly more adventurous. She gets visions with clues to trace down her donor, Matt, who died in a motor crash, and contacts the family. Its all too much for Jills daughter, gifted violinist Amanda, who was okay playing the perfect nurse but now feels lost and betrayed, despite support from her boyfriend Billy.
